East Manila Ink Tattoo

I had a tattoo on my forearm of a compass and roses from years ago that never finished. It wasn't bad but because it wasn't finished it didn't look great so I came here because I very badly wanted it covered or fixed and finished so I could have a finished nice looking tattoo. I met with Ion for a consultation, and he said that because it's a pretty large piece, it couldn't really be covered up but could definitely be finished. When I went in for my appointment I was almost speechless with the design he had made especially because the information I gave him was basically 'I would like this finished'. He not only improved the design that was already there by a lot, but he also chose a black/grey/white monochromatic color palette which completely goes with my personal style. I'm pretty obsessed with it and once I heal I'm definitely going back a few times for many more tattoos.

Happen to notice East Manila Ink while leaving a local restaurant next door and cannot be happier. They were originally located on King George in Surrey but recently located to N.Delta.Had been looking for a local place but not really liking personal and public reviews for the other choices.Went in to discuss my tattoo, spoke to Jonas (owner), and was booked with Rye Clavering for the next day. His wife Grace is on-site as were their very well behaved, adorable children who were in no way a distraction to the artists or customers. (Although I couldn’t resist encouraging their daughter to come say “hi”).Rye has 10yrs tattooing experience and an artist background. He was very thorough from sanitation, to ensuring tattoo was accurate , customers vision, placement and execution.Couldn’t be happier with the end result and highly recommend Rye.The setting is a very calm open space and the musac would be pleasing to all.Not much parking in front but lots on adjoining lot and side-street.

I can't say enough nice things about Jonas and his staff. I waited nearly a year for my appointment mostly because I could only do a Saturday appointment, and Jonas was booked up. The wait was well worth it. When I arrived, I realized I had forgotten to send Jonas reference photos for a half face bear tattoo to go on my forearm. My screw up, but Jonas took the photos that I did have on my phone, and within 5 mins had a design that made my jaw drop.After that the entire process was fantastic, Jonas is an amazing artist, and I am very thankful to have my first tattoo done by him. As soon as I come up with another tattoo idea I will be returning to East Manila Ink Tattoo, and will gladly wait another year to see them. Thank you!

Jonas is a great artist! So friendly and fun to talk to, yet still very professional! I was comfortable during the whole appointment and and it was a great experience over all, also thanks to the kindness of his team. I'm really happy to have met him because I can fully trust his talent and advice. His work was above my expectations and I look forward to seeing him again for my future tattoos!!

East manila ink tattoo will make you feel at ease and at home while having your session! I had the best time with them and most importantly their work of art is the second to none! The best of the best! Can’t wait to have another session!

Initially went here for 2 memorial tattoos. I brought in a couple of ideas that I had in mind and Chris combined them to design the tattoos that I wanted. I am very happy with the work that I received and would definitely recommend East Manila to anyone.I also wanted another tattoo after I got the first 2. I again brought in a couple of ideas to combine into what I wanted. Chris again drew up what I had in mind, we did decide to change the size a bit which was done quickly and to what I liked.Before any work was done on all three of my tattoos I was given the chance to make any changes on design or position of them. Chris made sure I was happy with that before any work was started.Definitely happy with the work, although I do need to setup an appointment for some touch up on one of them. I don't believe that is going to be an issue because of how much they paid attention to my requests.I'm also needing a cover up which I am going to get done through them as well.*EDIT*I dropped into the shop, without a call or an appointment, to talk about the touch up work I needed. I had the touch up work done within half an hour. Now, to me, that is Awesome Customer Service!!.Thanks again to everyone involved in making my experience a good one. I'll see you soon for some more work I want done.

Don’t go here if you want to get a big piece. I got my artist changed last minute after a +1 hour consultation, there were mistakes in my tattoo, and management never took responsibility for these mistakes. Would not recommend!!! The tattoo shop I went after to fix my tattoo advised me to get my money back from them but management never answered.Worse customer service ever!!!!!Thanks for replying with a bunch of lies lol i got COVID that’s why I didn’t go to my first appointment. I don’t know which second appointment I missed so NO TRUE. I was changed of tattoo artist LAST MINUTE as you guys had an event the day that front desk scheduled me with MIKE. Nobody let me know about the change. During my consultation front desk rotated the design to see how it would look, I said no let’s change it back and she said: we will prepare the design before the appointment. Didn’t happen. And I didn’t realize the change wasn’t made time after. My tattoo artist was nervous because he didn’t know what was going on. I thought initially Chris was my tattoo artist, they look alike if I would’ve know he wasn’t, I wouldnt have gotten the tattoo by a newbie. So many wrong things with this shop. Do not go.

Just had a small tattoo on my wrist, and I got what I wanted. Looking forward to get another tattoo from them. They are professional and brilliant artists.
