Very nice waterfront however it isn’t a beach in any aspect. There is no access to the waterfront as it’s private property (you need to cross train tracks). This “beach” is Government property and you are trespassing once past the railroad tracks and it’s patrolled by CN. This good location is incorrect. Confederation Park is beautiful for trails (which include off leash dog options) but there’s no beach access at all.

Nice little spot to enjoy the wilderness in the city. Definitely worth walking down here to check it out!

Great place and privacy. Nature serenity at its best with both wilderness and beach.

The whole beach has been dug up and entirely replaced to reinforce the nearby railroad. It’s gone :(

Beautiful trail, cannot go into the beach, cops, fining people if you cross to it that’s what she said, right if you cross the train rail. But a beautiful hike near is pretty cool.

Better come by boat. Apparently it's a felony offence to cross the train tracks from Confederation Park to get to the beach, and it is patrolled by CP Rail Police. So heed the no trespassing signs if coming by land!

Nice hidden quiet beach. To get to it you’d have to walk down a steep slippery cliff so I wouldn’t recommend bringing your kids. The beach isn’t that big. And the sand is filled with rocks and broken shells. There’s a handmade swing and some bonfire spots. The water is also quite clear.FYI it’s illegal to walk on the tracks BESIDES the only designated crossing. If you walk on the track there is no space around the tracks to jump to if a train comes. Plus standing on the side while a train is passing is very dangerous, you can be pulled in by the force of the passing air.
