This was the worst dress shopping experience I have ever had. I had an appointment at 4pm for wedding dress shopping. The woman working with me spoke no English (this is in the West Island!). She did not ask me my size or budget or event date. She just asked what style?" and then handed me a dress

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Nadia! She did my wedding dress alterations and made my dress exactly how I always dreamed and envisioned it! She's very creative and will work with you to solve any problem that you may have. She has decades of experience and will make sure that your vision is understood and conveyed properly. I am so thankful I went to see Nadia for my alterations, she did a beyond amazing job ! Thank you !

Buying my bridesmaid dresses with Yasmine was a fabulous experience. She made everyone feel comfortable.However; the alterations ruined the experience for me. They are an absolute mess. They recommend going their seamstress “couture chic”.My recommendation is to just go elsewhere for the alterations elsewhere AT ALL COSTS.

I had the absolute best experience at Elle et Dentelle. If I could give this store a 20-star review, I would. Yasmina and her mother are both so sweet, knowledgeable and welcoming. I had gone to a few other dress stores and can easily say my experience at Elle et Dentelle was unrivalled. Their selection of dresses and veils is beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable! I cannot say enough good things about this place and its owners, and I cannot wait to wear my beautiful dress on my wedding day.

Nadia is amazing! She is so kind and sincere and so is her daughter Yasmine. She did such a great job on my wedding dress in just two weeks. I highlighly recommend going to see her for any alterations. She is super careful and meticulous. Patience is key! She's dealing with delicate fabric and it's very intricate work that can't be rushed if you want the best results. Her work speaks for itself and her pricing is very fair. Everyone is facing the reality of being short staff due to covid but Nadia still gets the job done as promised. Even if you have to wait a little longer than expected at your appointment, it's worth the wait!

I picked up my dress today and I can't even express enough gratitude to you Nadia for the incredible work you did on my wedding dress. Thank you for your patience cuz I know you needed a lot of patience with me !!! Your service is amazing but your work is absolutely perfect. YOU ARE A TRUE GEM ❤️ I will be coming back for the other 3 weddings I have this summer that's for sure !

I don't know why but somehow my dress that i brought to Couture Chic on St John's to be cleaned and stored was found here.The people are polite and my dress was well cleaned. However it took 4 months, 2 visits and police involvement to get my wedding dress back. Poor communication and not the business i thought i was working with.** update: although the owner responded please note that i did NOT have any alterations done. It was for a dress cleaning only. So 4 months is not normal. I also contacted the police after a visit in July to the store i thoguht i was dealing with And Elle et Dentelle. On Sep 8 i went to couture chic where my services were supposed to be provided. The employee called Nadia and directed me again to Elle et Dentelle which was locked upon my arrival. There was a doorbell which i rang 2 times over 8 minutes before going to the police station who helped sort out and confirm the location of my dress. Again the work was well done but would be very wary of both businesses perhaps simply due to the lack of transparency**

I had such a wonderful experience at Elle et Dentelle. My dress came in the month before my wedding and Nadia was able to alter my dress and reassured me that it would be ready on time. I’m so happy I was referred to Nadia. Thank you Nadia for your patience and service.
