Dr. Dana Wong

incredibly unprofessional. harmful bedside manner and complete lack of knowledge surrounding neurodivergent needs. She is rude, ignorant and shows a severe lack of care for her patients mental wellbeing. She should be forced to take sensitivity training. When I brought my complaints to her about our appointment, she spoke over me, raised her voice, and refused to listen to my concerns without interrupting me even when I asked her politely to let me speak. She said I knew your child was going to be hard to handle". a complete lack of compassion and empathy for people with disabilities. A formal complaint has been made against her. I highly suggest others do the same to prevent this from happening to other families."

My Mom waited 6 months to see Dr. Wong. In the spirit of Covid she was only given a phone appointment which is fine. Dr. Wong started the call with I will ask you some questions for you to answer. My Mom tried to let her know a bit of history and all the other testing she had been through. Dr. Wong dismissed her and asked her again to just answer the questions. At the end she told my Mom there was no need for an appointment. How are you able to determine that without even looking at her or listening to the history of tests that have come back ok. This is the only type of testing that has not been completed to outrule any issues. Very disappointing.

If I could post zero stars that would be a better observation.Dr. Wong completed sinus surgery on me 4 years ago, and refused to do any kind of follow up.In the last year, my nostrils have begun collapsing, which prompted both my allergy and asthma specialists to recommend seeing Dr. Wong again, as I am struggling to breathe.I waited months to get this appointment, to only have an incredibly upsetting experience. I remembered in the past, that Dr. Wong had a poor bedside manner.Today I asked her to explain what she was going to do, and when I said I am quite nervous

I honestly have no clue what the other reviews are talking about (not to dismiss their experiences or anything!) I went to her a couple days ago and I found Dr. Wong to be quite pleasant. She was gentle, professional, informative and showed interest in my mental health/taking care of my mental health. Her receptionist even entertained my 4 yr old while I had my appointment.

Wow, thanks for nothing. I'm glad the 5 minutes of testing you did to confirm ear pressure was enough evidence you needed to kick me out of the appointment. Doesn't matter that you have a patient sitting in front of you telling you that something is wrong, I guess your tests and degree know better, right? You were extremely rude to me and seemed like you couldn't even handle being told that you seemed anxious and rushed. How pathetic. Listen to your patients next time, doctor""

This doctor (Dana Wong) has no bedside manners, interpersonal skills, and just seems cold altogether. I got nasal surgery from her, it went okay in terms of results. My nasal obstruction is gone now, but she seemed to lack the ability to properly reassure me about what she was going to do. She made me feel uneasy about her as a doctor and her competency to do the surgery properly. Also told me that her office would call in a month or so for a follow-up examination, but never came to fruition. I would avoid this doctor if bedside manners, empathy, and communication really matter to you. She seems like a robot that's ready to cut you up on the first day to be honest lol.

I read all the reviews and was a little concerned, but I had a great appointment.Dr Wong was professional, prompt and to the point. There was no wasting time, she asked questions, did the exams she needed to do and told me what I needed to do. I think people may be offended (?) If there's no idle chit chat (?) I prefer a Dr that is on time and deals with the issue and moves on. Nothing worse than sitting in a Dr's office waiting and Dr Wong makes Sure that doesn't happen.

I was sent to her for a chronic cough that I have had for 5 years. She looked and gave me a nose spray that didn't work. I also saw an asthma specialist who ordered a barium swallow and found that I had silent acid reflux and esophageal dysmotility. She then sent me back to Dr. Wong who said there was nothing she could do for me and told me to go see my GP to get a referral to a gastroenterologist. My GP quit his practice within a week and did not set up referral. I called Dr. Wong and asked if she could send in referral and she told me to go to a walk in and that she couldn't help me. She is horrible. I have never been treated so bad from anyone else in the medical field. Don't go to her.

I visited Dr.Wong may 19th, she heard everything I had to say. She even checked out my nose and gave me a prescription. Then she gave me a consult for my tonsils and put me on the waitliat for surgery like I asked. Waited just under 2 months for surgery. I loved her, she was understanding, very informative.

Absolutely a pleasure to have Dr Wong caring for my daughter. She is beyond caring and kind and so thorough. From the second you walk in to the moment you leave you feel comfort which honestly these days is hard to find in the medical world.
