My property manager booked this company to check out our malfunctioning refrigerator on June 19th. The appointment was made for June 21st, a three hour window of 1-4pm. The guy showed up at 3:55pm. Ordered a part from Calgary, was informed they'd call with an appointment when it came in, a day or two. On June 27th, my property manager texted to see if the fridge has been fixed yet, and I told her I hadn't heard from them, she informed me the part was in. Waited until the 28th to call them, asking why I hadn't received a call yet, to which they replied I can book you in tomorrow". No reason as to why I hadn't been contacted. I get a text saying a three hour window for the appointment of 10am-1pm on the 29th. It is now 1:17pm and they still haven't shown up. I called and voiced my dissatisfaction

Cost of replacement part was reasonable but labour cost was outrageously high - about $343/hour. The estimate of the total cost was , at best poorly communicated, at worst, deceptive. We advised that there was a problem with the door not opening on our LG front load washer when service was booked. On-site, the technician diagnosed the problem as a faulty door latch but didn’t bring this part with him. The service call took less than 30 minutes. The charge for the service call was $99.A day or so later, a rep called and advised that the part was $94.96. The total cost was quoted as $205 with advice that the service call cost would be deducted. The part was installed by the technician the next day in less than 5 minutes. At that time we were surprised that they were charging another $100 for the installation. The website says they charge by the job and not by the hour. In any other reasonable business, that is supposed to represent a savings over an hourly rate. Instead, Dial An Applianceman is using this to greatly inflate the repair cost. Beware!

I have used Appliance man in the past and will continue to for all my appliance repair needs. My dishwasher issue was diagnosed and repaired in a timely manor, once parts arrived. Great communication through texts on scheduling the repair then following through when they are on the way. The repairman, Don, was very nice, knowledgeable and not phased by my nosey dogs that supervised his work. I would not hesitate to refer them. Thank you.

I purchased a brand-new chest-deep freezer from this company. The President of the company responded to all my communications in a timely manner. The delivery personnel was excellent! They unpacked and set up the appliance for me and were extremely careful. I would 100% recommend this company to purchase a new appliance.

Sam cam out and diagnosed 3 fridges for our company. He was upfront that he would not be able to fix 2 of the three fridges but only was charged for 1 service call for those. The other service call for the large fridge was applied to the cost of the labour and parts. While he did have to come back 3 times for the large fridge (which was mostly due to miscommunication and the fridge not being fully defrosted), we did not get charged more. We also ended up having an issue with our dishwasher on site and he fixed it while he was here instead of booking another service call. He also attempted to insist not to charge for it, however we wanted to ensure he was paid for his troubles. The cost was reasonable for the work completed and we will definitely be saving this company's number for future services! Thanks again and if you book, ask for Sam!

Great service & communication. Ted was polite, helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to troubleshoot our refrigerator/freezer correctly. The part came in quickly and was replaced quickly. Service appointments were on time. We will definitely call them again if any other service is needed and will recommend them to friends and family.

We recently purchased a new dishwasher and upon running the first cycle water poured out of the base. We followed up with the manufacturer who connected us with Dialanapplianceman and we are glad they did. Dealing with them was a true pleasure from booking the appointment to the work done. Don was able to come out and was quickly able to diagnose the issue of a cracked sump assembly. He then contacted the manufacturer support area to ensure they understood the issue and determine the right part. Once the part arrived a new appointment was made and Don once again was out and made sure the part was installed correctly and everything works. Don was wonderful to work with as he was professional, took care to keep the machine safe and area clean and shared information well. The dishwasher is now better than new, thanks Don and Dialanapplianceman!

Worst people I have ever dealt with my washer broke a month ago after haveing a technician here and him not having a clue about anything decided he needed a second opinion from another technician which had to schedule another appointment. which was supposed to be a few days later when we called because no one came we found out they didn't even book us in even tho they said they did. Once we got the second opinion after a week we had to wait for the part to come in and just now we were scheduled for an appointment today to get it fixed no one showed up. I called to see what's going on and they gave me the wrong time it's supposed to be from 4 to 7 not in the morning so I wasted my whole Saturday waiting on people for nothing. Find another company to deal with cause these guys cause nothing but headaches

Went above and beyond with some advanced troubleshooting and handyman extras.Troubleshooted my leaky washing machine. It turned out to be the shower next to the washing machine that was leaking. He suspected the shower fairly quickly. We took the washing machine and dryer out of the enclosure first. He made some quick checks that the washing machine was not leaking and tested it. We then tested the tub and shower and found the problem. He even helped point me toward a hopefully quick possible shower repair. He is not a plumber so I needed to do it myself or call a plumber. I was willing to try things so at his suggestion, I unscrewed the shower head from the wall, added silicone tape (from him), and carefully rescrewed it back in (the socket was inside the wall). This unfortunately did not fix the problem but was a good, easy first attempt. He marked likely spots where I could make holes in the drywall to find the leaky pipe. He was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. He (Don) only charged me a 1h diagnostic fee of $100.(I made those holes in the drywall and could not find the leak at first. The problem ended up being a broken solder joint behind the tub outlet. It was repaired by a plumber. The back-pressure from the shower-head caused the leaking to occur.)
