Great setting, clean & open space, on the smaller side but people are friendly and encouraging.Great training area upstairs with barbells, racks, dumbbells, cable machines, as well as a spray wall and moon board.

My husband and I were big into top rope when we lived in Vancouver and it was tough to get into bouldering when we moved back to the Okanagan. The Hill Security location made it easy. This gym is much closer for us than the Banks location so it makes it easier for us to get to the gym. The setting is great, a good range of problems and the staff are all wonderful. The couple of ropes available are a bonus. Really hoping that Gneiss does eventually add more ropes/higher walls or opens a top rope gym - we would live there!

The new best climbing gym in town!!Gneiss has two locations; this one has the better weight section upstairs and this location also has top-rope/sport climbing rather than the old location which has bouldering only. That being said, if you are looking for an indoor bouldering gym, either of the Gneiss locations are excellent.

My first time climbing. The girl at the counter was helpful and informative. She helped us get set up and started. Climbing was a lot of fun. Good variety of climbing lines. I enjoyed trying out the rope and harness.

Was disappointed with the setting style and number of routes. There is a lot of empty space on the wall, and the facility is much smaller than it looks on the website. Most of the routes feel very similar. Yet, the upstairs training facility is very nice and they have a great spray wall.

Staff are really friendly and helpful. It's a new gym so it's clean. The drop in rate and shoes rental is very reasonable I think it was around 30$ for both. They also have a gym upstairs if you want to have a full workout. They also have coffee which is delightful during the winter. Definitely recommend this place.

Good amount of bouldering problems and sufficient climbing routes if you’re into top toping. Including two auto-belays.Family friendly atmosphereThe weight training area and climbing specific training walls on the second floor is awesome. No need for Separate gym pass.

Not impressed. Relatively small gym, and we were disappointed with the limited amount of boulder routes. Tons of extra space on the walls, they could have done a lot more with this space. Very little variety, not many different styles of climbing. Bouldering walls are also very high, maybe a few meters lower than the rope climbing, doesn’t seem safe. However, the gym is well maintained and I really enjoyed the spray wall upstairs.
