I as a contractor just installed Alweather windows in a house. Look elsewhere for a higher quality window. I feel they’re not willing to negotiate with the customer to help them out and get them happy

This has to be the absolute worst company to deal with. I have been a home owner for 3 years now and buying a “fixer upper”, I have dealt with many contractors over the years. I wouldn’t recommend Alweather to my worst enemy. From the moment they got my deposit the experience had been a nightmare. To start, they were several months longer completing the job than was promised when I decided to go with them causing me to lose out on rebates (which I advised them of and they didn’t do anything to rectify), they ordered the wrong window and the wrong door (creating further delays) and wanted to charge me extra for their mistake, they broke the second (corrected) window and tried to cover it up (thankfully my roommate was home and overheard them discussing the break), and finally my brand new window had water pooling in the tracks which the lady in the office tried to tell me this was a “feature” of the window. After months of trying to get this issue resolved they never did anything to make it right. And on top of that, the final bill they gave me they attempted to overcharge me. This company is extremely dishonest with very poor management and workmanship. I would suggest going with Metro Windows and Doors, a much more professional and trustworthy company (as proven by their reviews).

Horrible Manger... Installed a door that won't lock. Told them about it they said it was warranty issue. It's an installation issue Also one large window was replaced with the screen oppositside. Installer noticed the one he took out was not the same... So frustrated... Now they want to take me to collections for not completing the payment. It doesn't lock!!!

Quality product marred by horrendous and dishonest salesmanship. As soon as they knew I wanted supply only and would be having someone else take care of the install they seemed less inclined to help and more focused on gouging me since they wouldn't be able to scalp me with install fees.When the rep came out to do a remeasure I was told the first reps measurements wouldn't satisfy what I was trying to do and the quote got more expensive. I ended up having to drop a window from the project in order to meet budget. Maybe if they sent someone qualified on the first measurement this wouldn't have happened.When ordering I asked about lead time and whether a month would be a reasonable expectation. I was told that was about right so planned for that time frame and got my associates booked for install. The week before install I called to get an update and was told that the windows wouldn't be ready for a couple weeks. When I called them out on the time frame they initially gave me I was chastised by the sales rep for taking so long to approve the quote. He must have forgotten that after he came out to measure he sent the quote to the wrong email address which caused the initial delay.Honestly it doesn't matter how good the product is. Good service is what leads to repeat business and in future I would advise avoiding this company like the plague.

I had a great experience with AWWD. Their staff was always good to work with and kept in communication. The installers were very professional and did great work. The product itself is high quality hitting a good price point.

We recently had seven windows replaced in our home by Alweather. Several of the windows were very large and presented a number of challenges during installation. The new windows are a quality product that has greatly enhanced the look of our home. They have a tight seal that has eliminated drafts, transfer of cold air and significantly reduced “street sounds”.Every step in the process from our first meeting with Kevin to the completed installation reflected excellent customer service and organizational integrity. The windows were put in place by a very skilled team of installers. The workmanship and quality of materials used was exceptional and elicited very positive comments from another tradesman who was completing a job in our home.We were very happy with our experience with Alweather and will be contacting them regarding additional work in our home in the Fall.Highly recommend this company!!

What a joke dealing with this company. They installed the door but Global manufactured the door, back and forth. They have a way about not backing up their warranty. I wasted my time trying to get some sort of customer satisfaction.Allsco also was involved, they all wanted to sell me a new door or charge $100 bucks for someone to come out and take a look.This would be the 3rd garden door in 11 years. Well no thanks I would rather take the door out and shingle over the opening than dealing with these three companies.I will find a better product and a better company to deal with.......here comes a copy and paste apology, I am done !!!!!

Nova Windows and doors is across the street go thereFirst I ordered windows in Sept told 4 to 6 weeks till they arrive. I called in Oct to see where they were told they would call me back. Which to no surprise no one did. I called back in a week and was told they did not order my windows. Keep in mind this is windows for my whole house and now my windows will not arrive till January. I'm in the military so I took my vacation for when they should have originally arrived, I spoke with the manager and asked if I could get a few installed for the troubles. They were very hesitant and they install Manager Steve" has to be the rudest person I have ever met. He went out to my house and inspected the windows to be replaced. He called me telling me my brick were to damaged and they would not be on the hook for any damages If any occurred. Which I understood but his tone was rude and not professional at all.I took a day off for when the installers and windows were dropped off. Oh did I mention they screwed up 4 of my windows when they arrived. Putting me even further behind schedule. When the installers arrived I mentioned "Steve" said my brick was bad around the windows. The installer laughs "We have seen much worse then this. Your fine"Management is terrible and treats everyone poorly.I have finally received my windows 9 months later and I am begging anyone who is looking for windows and doors to avoid this place."

We are very happy with the beautiful results from Angus and his team! They were great at communicating and worked efficiently to make sure we were happy with everything. Great job guys! Our house is like new.

I AGREE with most of the others on Google Reviews.....This has to be the absolute worst company to deal with. Work was done PRE-COVID-19 I just decided to do the review now that all the financial issues are closed. I still need to take them to court over work I paid for but was never done,I too wouldn’t recommend Alweather to my worst enemy.They were 5 months longer completing the job than was promised. There was shipping issues and they ordered the wrong door swing and wrong storm door and wanted to charge me extra for their mistake.My brand new door has water pooling in the bottom tracks because they FAILED to install it properly. After months of trying to get this issue resolved they threatened to take me to court over a few hundred dollars that was supposed to be a credit for all their missed appointments. I take a day off work and then they NEVER show up, and call at noon to say they wont be coming. They never did anything to make it right or anything for customer satisfaction. This company is extremely dishonest with very poor management and workmanship. The estimator is a complete ID10T!!
