What a perfect spot for quality meats!And the selection is as varied as you would want it to be, both in frozen portions or at the counter. Variety includes cheeses, honey and pure maple syrup, and you even have a basket of treats /goodies (smoked bones) for your dog!

I've visited on several occasions.....everything I've purchased has been of the highest quality. Some items were not to my taste...but I can't deny they were still well made.Some items are priced out of my price range however....which is unfortunate.

Burt Farm grows and sells the most delicious cuts of beef and pork, occasional chicken and turkey, as well as amazingly good sausages, pepperettes, smokies and summer sausage anywhere on Manitoulin. Maple syrup from their own sugar bush, cheese, fantastic beef jerky all available in a storefront right on the farm. A regular stop for locals and tourists. Parking in front. Open Friday and Saturday. Max and Joanna offer friendly personal service and take pride in their products and service. Not to be missed.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL I don't mind being screwed a little bit but when you bend me over the counter and give me the full shaft i will not be returning (feeling like the multiple trips across the island are the salt for lube). Thank You.

This place is amazing. They raise and butcher all the meat in their butcher shop. It doesn't get more local than that. The animals are well cared for and the meat is tasty!

Amazing meats, service and incredibly clean. I would highly recommend this shop. Call ahead for hours. It's a little out of the way but I never hesitate to take the drive. The meat, and products are worth it. ******

I was vacationing on the island and had heard of Burt's. Bought a beautiful sirloin beef steak. Had very nice taste and texture. AAA!The property was gorgeous.
