Nice toys, but horridly rude, joyless and snooty owner. It's too bad, thankfully I went to La Grande Ourse (263 duluth ave est) which has a much better selection and wonderfully helpful staff.

Excellent selection of conscientious children’s toys. Staff are gracious, helpful, and invested.

Horrendous service. Awfully rude store manager or owner (I cannot tell).The store is very nice with lots of cute things for kids—as you can imagine. However, a great majority of the clothes are overpriced with very poor finishings for children’s clothes (e.g, exposed zipper stoppers and rough inside seams that rub against the child’s skin, which is uncomfortable and sometimes creates rashes. It can also cause accidents/caught skin). The overpriced (or naturally expensive) factor is also influenced by the fact that they carry several Scandinavian and EU brands (although I don’t necessarily mean it’s a bad thing), and didn’t notice that many local clothing ones (but that may also be due to the fact that the lady’s presence felt so pressing and unpleasant that we didn’t feel at ease to explore more).However, the reason why I give such a low review is because the service by the manager of the store is shockingly unwelcoming. From the moment my partner and I stepped into the store the lady acted almost as if our presence bothered her. She seemed to offer her help with an aspect of wanting us out the door as soon as possible (we spent a total of 22 minutes and bought for 200$—which I think it’s just reasonable). I asked if exchanges were possible and she replied “yes”. We didn’t realise one of the items was on sale and it turned out to be too small a size for our friend’s baby. We were shopping for 3 newborns (many or our friends just became parents and others are expecting, which means we are also “expecting” to spend more in these kinds of shops for babies and kids). Upon having to return for an exchange, she acted like I was again the biggest nuisance and said, begrudgingly, that she was doing an exception for me (all of this despite the fact that she couldn’t even confirm if the item was indeed on sale—it was under her suspicion that it was). I simply said, as calmly as I found it in my self to do it, that we should have been warned it was a final sale and that normally this is specified in the returns sales policy and that the receipt should be stamped to note that it is final sale. I feel bad for the second woman who seemed to be a new hire and was being trained. She tried to be kind and ease the mood.Conclusion, good service is always king. There are too many other kids stores with absolutely adorable and better quality things to choose from in Montreal. Don’t stick for a local store that doesn’t seem to bother to promote local brands too, but mostly, that treats you like they are doing you a favour instead of being, at the very least, glad to know that there are customers ready to spend coming into their store. The woman’s baffling rudeness was completely underserved. Her negative attitude totally ruined our experience and eagerness to find something lovely for our friends’ new babies.NEVER AGAIN!

Horrible snobby sales clerk. I purchased an item there before and the young clerk was nice. But the older lady working there is just plain rude. My second time there, I walked in and asked if they had an item and she said we don’t have that. I looked around and saw the item. I still wanted to give them my business so i pointed the item & asked for further questions. She continued to be rude. Don’t go there. Horrible service by this pady and just plain Desagreable experience!

Very rude sales lady. Decent selection of toys. Too bad. Would not recommend buying toys from this person.Also noticed she was more helpful to a nicely dressed couple who walked in after me. (I was dressed sloppy as I was out with my baby).

A jewel of a store with lots of quality clothing, beautifully made and best of all they are locally sourced. Service was impeccable; the saleslady was more than accommodating and provided great advice. I will definitely return.

Great kids store with many original local products. They have kids clothing and toys. On Sundays, they offer workshops for kids with the local company Tuta & Coco.

They offer in-store pickup for purchases made via their online store. An overall seamless customer experience; purchased the toys in the morning, received a confirmation email immediately, booked a pick-up time slot, and picked up the purchase in the afternoon. 10/10

Beautiful shop with some adorable toys. Lots of Quebec and Canada-made things which is great. Staff is very helpful and nice.

Amazing little shop. Store clerk was kind and helpful. Nice selection of locally made products and side room with second hand items.
