Just watched Spider-Man at this theatre. Great experience - comfortable seats and staff were friendly. Online ticket ordering was smooth and no issues with the e-tickets. We all ordered concessions - the self serve concept was a bit hard to navigate. This would be ok if this was our home theatre and we were used to it. Small arcade area as well for the children although we didn’t participate in these.

My lovely wife, Pat, treated me to a movie out for my birthday. For the first time we went to this Cineplex theatre. It was a welcome break to get out of the intense early August heatwave as soon as we entered this fine movie theatre complex.Host's were extremely helpful at their end.First time I'd ever seen and worked a machine which provided a milkshake. Having first tasted it, it seemed more of a slushy/milkshake cross. Not a huge fan but it maybe something that takes getting used to.We both enjoyed the snacks made available for our choosing. Prices a bit steep but we realize these theatres have bills to pay as well.Pat went for the new DBOX seating. Something new to us which we had talked about.Pat was immediately disappointed that the seats do not tip back. She is most comfortable having her feet raised up (on her feet all day at work).Once the movie started (after too many commercials) it didn't take long before we felt the effects of this special seating. It seemed these seats do a lot of shaking upon the slightest provocation on the screen. There's no way I see myself falling asleep while in one of these vibratory seats (and I have fallen asleep in theatres before). After a bit, the vibrations in unexpected and unwarranted spots had me laughing. Seemed a bit of overkill.I noticed, before the movie started, that there is a slide controller for the rate of vibrations. Even before movie starts the controls let user experience the varied rates of seat vibrations. I set mine for midway with the thinking it wouldn't be too extreme and not too light. As it was, once movie was well started, I set the lever for the most extreme vibratory setting. There are only 3 settings plus an off if so desired.Ticket pricing was a bit higher for these seats but well worth it if one wants to keep awake. Also worth it, at least once in our lives, just to experience the jolts physically that are expressed upon the screen.Worth noting that currently, at this time, only the 2 back rows have this special vibratory seating (DBOX) available.

I’ve been to this theatre twice, and for good reason.Went to go see the new Evil Dead Rise and while the movie was great, the amount of groups speaking around me was astounding and ridiculous. The movie itself was incredibly loud but I still managed to hear the group behind me and around the theatre. As it was the last showing, all employees were gone leaving just the manager, so it’s difficult to say much about the talking groups, as well as pin pointing who exactly is talking. After the movie was done, I found the manager and explained the situation but was met with a rude attitude and explained how I should’ve complained first about the talking so they can give the person talking a warning, but that’s difficult to do when it’s practically the whole theatre. The manager was nice enough to give courtesy tickets, but I feel as though a rating is still needed. Not only did I have to listen to others talk, but I heard phones ringing during the movie, people were on their phones, laughing at moments that weren’t close to funny and the gentleman behind me was kicking my chair the entire time.I’ve worked at a movie theatre before, I understand the need to report these things, but I wanted to enjoy the movie and hopefully try to ignore the people, not to mention I dislike having to walk across multiple peoples views and I didn’t want to miss out on a movie I’ve been looking forward to watching.Overall, the theatre is great and I love the upgrades compared to Trinity Drive, but the difference in customers and workers is very noticeable. The first time I came to the Dieppe theatre, I watched the new Michael Meyers and was meet with the same amount of talking from the entire theatre, and even after reporting it to employees, nothing was done :/Anyways, my overall message is go to the Trinity Drive cineplex if you are able to. I only come to the Dieppe one if Trinity isn’t showing a specific movie I want to see.

I mean the experience is really related to the movie. Overall the staff is usually ok. The managers are usually good to solve whatever issues arise. My annoyances is that each time I go (not that frequently 5-6 times a year). It seems they’ve move stuff around and changed things in order to cut more jobs. I know many business are struggling post pandemic and I respect that but I think that the current set up is as bare bone as can be before customer services is affected negatively. But keep an eye on wait line for food and beverages.

Filthy place, no cleaning. I’m sure this is a good place to live bugs.

Come seats, friendly and helpful staff. Decent selection of food. Plenty of parking. Sound quality was decent in the theaters.

Movie and sound were fine, seats were fairly comfy but very worn in the avx theatre. Floors were extremely dirty everywhere, multiple bathroom stalls out of order with garbage and water on the floor.

It was very expensive, floors were dirty and there was no customer service. The guy scanned our phone for our tickets and didn't even look at us. Looked right over us like we wasn't even there. Remember when they would tell you to enjoy your movie? Considering everything is self seve except the check out you would think it wouldn't have cost us $70 for 2 people. The quality and sound of the theater was excellent. And the seating was very good as well.

Staff were really unapproachable and rude might as well be a hang out spot than a work place for them. The concession was also pretty much closed down with like 4 hours left of service.
