Mother Computers

In 2017 I purchased a new Computer from Mother Computers and it worked great, over the years I updated it, and just Yesterday I came in and they updated my Mobo, CPU and Ram, all under 2h. Everything is working great and I cannot recommend them more.

I would definately recommend Mother's Computers to anyone looking to have a computer built to their needs. Clive was able to to answer all the questions I had and gave great recommendations for building a machine taylored to meet my expectations. The staff is friendly, informative and the service was top notch. I'm very happy with my new computer and will go back in future when the need arrives.

First time buying a custom gaming PC, Clive helped me find exactly what i needed and helped me choose the right parts for my pc. The sales staff we're great to work with and actually met the time frame they gave me. And when i had concerns about my pc, management helped me right away without issue! I highly recommend working with these guys!

I'm a 25-yr veteran of Information Technology and I can say that Mother Computers built and delivered the i9 loaded PC I wanted, offered at a good price, and had it ready within 24 hours. I am very pleased with service I received at Mother Computers. They have a fantastic team of kind and knowledgeable staff. After working on a laptop for years and most recently a Mac Book Air, I was feeling pretty lost when it came to switching back to a desktop and a PC, so I was very grateful the staff at Mother computer's made process as painless as possible. Tammy who I dealt with the most did a fantastic job at walking me through every thing and ensuring that I got what I was looking for in a computer, at a price that I could afford. I never once felt pressured or rushed by her, or like she was trying to up sell me or sell me anything I didn't want. I was in fact very impressed with her honesty and integrity. Also her patience in helping walk me to walk me through setting my new computer up was fantastic. Furthermore the computer it's self turned out great and will provide my with countless years of entertainment. I am very proud of my new set up and so thankful to Mother Computers. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the market for a New computer, who is looking for a tune up or looking into any of the other services/products they provide. I am once very happy customer.

Friendly incompetence is still incompetence. I had a very pleasant time with store employees, but they failed to fix my issues after multiple visits, each time assuring me that they'd done all sorts of things to fix my computer's problems. Prices are decent, so maybe it's fine if you're just buying parts, but don't trust them with actually doing any work on your technology.

Their geek" knew nothing. Honestly less than me. He was punctual and friendly but had no knowledge. Paid the $100 service call and learned my lesson. Bought a new device

Great service and very quick and efficient work. I ordered a $3000 PC build and it was done the next day. I believe the person who helped me was named Matt and he did a great job. Thanks for the Grade A experience!

Last week, my Dell Inspiron Gaming PC failed to start. I have enough knowledge about computers that I felt confident about troubleshooting it myself. It looked like a power supply issue, so I picked up a new PSU. I replaced the PSU easily enough, but the problem remained. The PC still would not start. The problem was likely the motherboard. I brought the entire system for servicing.Later the same day, I received a follow-up call. The technician told me that the problem was in fact a motherboard issue, and due to the motherboard being proprietary to Dell, it needed to be replaced. Okay. I was expecting that. I got a quote for a new case, new motherboard, and new CPU, and had the other working components of my old Dell case (RAM, GPU, HDD, new already purchased PSU) transferred over.I picked up the new desktop system two days later. I had other plans for my old Dell case, and I had to specifically ask for it and its remaining components to be returned, which I thought was odd. In hindsight, I should have checked the old Dell case in the store, because when I returned home, the i7 8th generation CPU was missing from the motherboard.I contacted the store. They had no idea where the CPU was. In the 48 hours that my system was in their possession, the original CPU vanished without explanation. They said they'd look into it.I was quite disappointed at this turn of events. Obviously someone dismantled my old system to build the new one. How does a CPU vanish with no one knowing anything about it?I did receive a call back, and they still had no idea where the CPU had gone. They asked that I bring the Dell case back so they could confirm that motherboard had housed an 8th generation i7. I did so, but it didn’t help. They couldn't locate the CPU, and they didn't want to sort through their recycled CPU bin.I was hoping they would be first to offer some kind of compensation, considering that I had just spent close to $1000 on a new system. Only after I suggested a store credit was I given $100 towards labor on a future purchase. Better than nothing, I guess.The new system does run fine, and the many staff I spoke to were pleasant enough to deal with. But the disappearance of the CPU has marred the overall experience. My trust in this business has been seriously diminished.[Updated to add: They did source a replacement CPU for the one that vanished.]

My wife's laptop became frozen. The on screen help line was fraudulent. Not knowing what to do I contacted Mother Computers. They walked me through the unfreezing process.Why Mother Computers? I'd taken my desktop there two years ago for a tune up. That worked well and I'm glad I contacted them again.
