Came in for some goodies for my kitties on the way home to Nanaimo. Charlene (I hope i spelled it right) was an absolute joy. Very personable and knowledgeable with the product in store. Will definitely stop by any time we are nearby. 10 stars for amazing staff, clean store and cute birdies!

Fired the most knowledgeable employee there for pointing people in the direction of things you couldn’t buy at that pet store. Apparently going to buy something a store doesn’t even sell elsewhere is terrible and sending away business…how does that make sense when you don’t even sell said product I’m after? Bought crickets several times since the ownership change and they keep dying for no reason. No changes on our end. They have cricket food and water and all the same things but they die within a few days. It’s not the heat as we have AC. Very disappointing.

I'm going to say, friendly staff, fresh take, knowledgeable, live feeders properly treated and readily available. The store is under construction and it's going to look smashing, be patient, for all good things take time. Our lizard family is now eating quality super worms and various stage of growth crickets, also rodent feeders. Thanks OodyOos,

I have visited the store twice now from Nanaimo since it changed hands and both times I felt absolutely invisible as a customer, even at the till. All animals are gone!

Excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Rebranded and under new ownership. Oodyoos is a term of endearment used by the owners within their family. The store is currently being revamped with a new aquarium wall which should be complete by November. The family has plans to kick off a one-year birthday celebration in early March 2023. They have plenty of animals and supplies onsite. Open daily.
