Bettina helped me prepare for my upcoming Adult Bat Mitzvah. I had tried to do it myself before and failed, because Hebrew was so overwhelming to me. After working with Bettina, I became the best student in my B'nei Mitzvah class. She is very patient and understanding. I now enjoy practicing Hebrew! I feel like I know what I am doing in services. Bettina helped my son prepare for his bar mitzvah. She is very patient, very knowledgeable, and he enjoyed his lessons very much. He didn't know any Hebrew at all going in, and by the end he was confidently reading portions from the haggadah on Passover. Myself and my son worked with Bettina for a few months to prepare for their Bar Mitzvah's. Bettina was very patient with son and went at a pace that really allowed for him to learn his material. She did a fantastic job in making sure we understood and learned all the trope in our Torah portions. My wife and I found Bettina online to tutor our son for his bar mitzvah. She responded quickly, and we set up a standing weekly appt. for both my son and younger daughter for his bar mitzvah tutoring, and general Jewish education for my daughter.Bettina is patient, kind, and my kids LOVE her! It’s not easy to say that about a teacher with my kids.At the time I am writing this, my son’s bar mitzvah is weeks away, and I am so proud of the work he and Bettina have put in, especially during these very difficult times. Scheduling traditional Hebrew classes for our son's busy schedule was challenging. We knew that we wanted to do our son's bar mitzvah in Israel, so it didn't make any sense to sign him up at our synagogue's Sunday school, which he would have missed most of the classes anyway. Finding Bettina changed everything. We provided her what the Rabbi in Israel needed for our son to work on, and she offered her suggestions, which was so helpful. Due to COVID, we had to postpone our trip to Israel; however, we continue to work with Bettina. Our son is now learning modern Hebrew with Bettina, and our daughter has started working on her bat mitzvah. We are still unsure when we can have their bar/bat mitzvahs, but knowing that Bettina is working with both kids until that time comes is comforting. Our daughter is dyslexic, and we knew that learning Hebrew would be a challenge for her. Despite our daughter's challenges, Bettina has helped her overcome some of the stress of learning a new lanuage. We highly recommend Bettina!

Our son was phenomenal! Thank you so much Bettina for the patience, wisdom, passion and love you put into teaching! Bettina was amazing and our son was ready for what lay ahead thanks to her tutoring. We had our son’s Bar Mitzvah scheduled for November 2021 in Jerusalem but then COVID restrictions struck hard. We had to cancel our trip and our son had to learn a new Torah portion. He didn’t complain and took the bull by the horns!
