Winnipeg West KOA Journey
So just for clarity's sake, this is a campground not a hotel as Google seems to think it is. Unfortunately I was there in May of 2022 and it just rained more or less constantly. The campground is in a bit of a bowl right beside a river and this filled up with water so it was you know, Hard to walk around because you're walking and wading through water.The operator did what they could but still disconcerting. In general, the operators were nice... I had no complaints.It's in a good location, close to west Winnipeg, and easy to get there and back again.I would stay there again next time I go to Winnipeg with my RV.I didn't

Nice place - helpful staff. Stayed here in early May 2023. They were just opening the facilities for the summer but allowed us to fill our tanks with water at the office. There is highway noise which is to expected along the TransCanada highway. We enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Before committing to stay the night, I asked to see the washroom/showers.I am pleased to say how clean, newly renovated the facilities are. This site has a family shower stall. This means my parents with special needs can shower with assistance. It is a unisex facility; this I needed to get comfortable with…call me “old fashion”There is good space between the RV camps.The owners are polite and helpful. They put as close to the facilities for my parents ease & comfort.I will definitely return to this clean, well kept, quiet and well spaced RV SITE.

If you’re looking for a good campground for your family/solo camping ( RV’s or Tent) try KOA Journey. The place is well maintained and their staff are approachable. We had a great 2 nights staying there.

Nice campground off the highway west of Winnipeg. Well cared for and signs of upgrading and expansion. Good price for full service utilities. Pull through sites.Nicest shower I have seen in the last four years. White shower insert you might put in your house. Bright, clean shower/bathroom area, non-gender specific. A place I want to shower in.We spent two nights there and used it as a place to explore Winnipeg as we travelled westward. Will keep it in mind for our return trip later in the summer.

Winnipeg West KOA Journey
We stayed here for three nights on a recent trip across Western Canada. This RV park is well run, clean and very well maintained. The staff are attentive and friendly. You can also have your propane tank refilled here. Laundry and shower facilities were clean and updated.

Winnipeg West KOA Journey
First of all, this is not a hotel. This is a campground behind the Esso gas station. (Same owners- very nice couple.)The campsites are the absolute minimum size. All the roads are gravel. There are no lights at night on the property. Great for camping, not so for security. It’s next to the Transcanada Highway, so there is a bit of road noise, even with the trees. The property is gated, but it’s not automatic, so be prepared to hop out and open the gate. And be a good citizen, by closing the gate behind you. ;) There was a pool, laundry and showers, which looked nice, but we did not use them. This is a good location for an overnight stop near Winnipeg.

It's a campground off of highway 1 on the west side just before Winnipeg. We were treated very nicely and was given a choice of which site to have.It looked a bit run down but we think they were working on it.Pros: convenient, price was good for full hookup, not busy and nice peopleCons: noisy with lots of highway traffic, work in progress

Winnipeg West KOA Journey
Stayed for one night as a stop over.Staff were incredibly friendly. I think possibly the manager of this site was walking about often and very nice and chatted whenever we saw him. Asked to move site as we’d been placed right next to a busy couple of sites and have a nervous dog, nice enough to let us move.Toilets were always nice and clean, showers were also.We were quite close by the highway but still managed to get a decent night of sleep.Nice grassy space towards back of campsite to walk the dog. One down fall was we took our dog to the dog park and my partner had to hold close the gate as didn’t seem to close properly.

Winnipeg West KOA Journey
Clean campground with spacious sites for our truck/5th wheel. Owners/Staff very friendly and helpful for touring Winnipeg, providing map and directions. Highway noise was close but easy enough to manage for a 2 night stay.
