Foodland - Winchester
One of the best places to shop for groceries in the area. I will drive out to Winchester rather than shop in Kemptville because the prices are just that much better at Foodland. The long opening hours have also saved me during many a late-night baking session! The store is always clean and well stocked. Employees are friendly and usually very quick at scanning items. I've never had to wait very long in checkout queues.

Staff were nice. Clean store and good selection of items. But holy inflated prices. I know things are more expensive these days but the prices here went above those regularly higher prices. I guess because it's the only grocery store in the area, it can have extra higher prices for convenience?

Clean, well kept, great service. Amazing experience with friendly staff, great selection, and supports/stocks Canadian brands like Shaw's Ice Cream and Covered bridge chips - which are hard to find in the city.Staff are smiling, and acknowledge you with a friendly greeting as you pass by. It's a big box store, with a small box feel.Highly recommend for fresh produce and great quality meat. They have an amazing selection of hot and ready made meals as well.If you are passing through the area, definitely worth stopping in and checking out what they have - you will be pleasantly surprised if you are accustomed to the larger city grocery shopping experience.

All in all the store is excellent , it’s a bit pricier than some other stores. For some things it’s worth it, for others not. However by far the shining star of the store is the sushi chef, young gentleman and the team that he works with. Far above quality sushi than I have had in many dedicated sushi restaurants. The freshest ingredients, perfect crunch when it needs to be. The sushi rice is delicious too. New update: they make a new shrimp tacos sushi (see photo) that is like if a Mexican Taco has a love child with a Japanese shrimp roll.. I am lucky to live 5 mins away from here but I'd drive an hour if I had to

Good store and good selection. I don't live in Winchester, but when I visit, I normally make a stop at Foodland. Love some of the baked goods I can't find in Kemptville.

I spoke with Heather who was absolutely the best. She put together a Christmas Hamper order for our family in the area and did such a wonderful job that if there were 10 stars Iwould give 10. THIS IS AN AMAZING STORE.
