Seeing a salmon ladder is a unique experience to be sure and this place can offer some great viewing opportunities. The landscape alone is breathtaking and worth the trip. If you want to see a lot of salmon jumping, you do need to go at the peak of the breeding season. We went a bit late so there were salmon there and they were jumping, but you had to pay attention to catch them doing it.They do have a restaurant and a small gift shop onsite, though we didn't eat while we were there. There isn't a lot else to do here other than watching the salmon and taking in the landscape, but we quite enjoyed it and I think it's worth the price of admission for that alone.

Looks like a neat place to visit, but when we got there they said there wasn't any salmon as of that morning so we may not see any but would still have to pay full price. Figured they could call down and ask or would know since we showed up an hour before closing. The water falls looked neat from a distance, but we couldn't enter without paying to walk around, and 35+ for 2 adults and 3 kids didn't seem worthwhile.

Nice place to learn about the salmon. We went to late in the season to see lots jumping, but we caught a glimpse of a few. Next year we'll go earlier in the season. Love the small picnic area off to the side to stop and have lunch. And the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We stopped at this center. This is very impressive and conservation effort is helping the River fish population increase . It has grown from 1500 to 40000 salmon in the River. One thing i learned was that Atlantic salmon return year after year to spauwn whereas Pacific return once and then die!

Staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Leon being so friendly and willing to share so many fascinating salmon facts! Did you know that salmon can detect the earth’s magnetic field with their blood?!

A really cool spot and must see if you are visiting or passing through Grand Falls/Windsor. Lots to learn and see, guides on site and an underwater observation area. Don't be fooled by it's poor representation on the net, I highly recommend a stop in!

Stunningly beautiful views from the salmon ladder!! Both staff we met were very knowledgeable and super friendly. Make a reservation at the cafe though, it's small and really busy.

Amazing spot to watch the salmon get up river. Watching them climb the ladder, the staff opens the gate and out they go, make sure you stop along the way to your next destination its worth it
