Had cold walked into the store to scope out the Volvo brand. Was impressed with the people and facility from the time I walked in. We as a family where interested in a small suv to use as an efficient safe city runner. After briefly discussing my wishes with Alexis and then Abe I was sold on the dealership. A few weeks later I noticed a used unit on the lot, after many visits that always started with a warm welcome from Alexis and some research, we are now part of the Volvo family. The professionalism and welcoming personalities of Abe and Alexis kept me coming back. Then the way Mike and Norraine treated us during final closing was an experience I never had buying a vehicle before. I want to thank the Volvo Royal Oak team for making me and my family feel very special and valuable, even though it was a used vehicle!! My youngest daughter still talks about the experience and tells people that we “bought a Volvo” not just saying that we bought a vehicle. If owning a Volvo is the same experience as buying one we might have a family of long term Volvo drivers!! I highly recommend checking these guys out for your next vehicle purchase.

Wow!! Hands down the best customer service we have ever had at a car dealership! From the moment we contacted Lily she went above and beyond to make things happen even when new vehicles seem to be scarce everywhere. She found the exact XC60 we were looking for across the country and brought it to us. The dealership itself is a beautiful and welcoming space. They had coloring and snacks that kept our kids occupied so we could shop and do the paperwork. Lily is incredibly knowledgeable about Volvos and was such a pleasure to work with. And the vehicle delivery experience was incredible! The unveiling" with a big bow on the car made it feel super special and made it so exciting for our kids! Norraine spent over an hour thoroughly explaining how every detail of the car works which was invaluable with all of the new tech inside the Volvo. She's an absolute expert and was so patient with us learning the features of the car. From start to finish this car buying experience ranks #1 for us! And we absolutely love our beautiful new Volvo! The service here is impeccable. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. We have been shopping for a new car for a few months and were not entirely certain if we would get a Volvo. Out of all the dealerships we went to, this one did the best job in every aspect: customer service, satisfaction, and anything else you can think about when shopping for a new car. Even when the car we were looking for was not on their lot, they emailed whenever they got an update on a new car coming in, and offered for us to go and view it to see if it is what we want. They were always reaching out to try and meet our needs and wants for a new car (customer service 14/10)The cars themselves are beautiful, and are arguably some of the safest vehicles you can drive on the road. The build quality is excellent, and everything works as it is intended to. One thing to note is that the car does require premium gas, although with an average fuel economy around 9.5 L/100km (and in the XC60's case a range of 850+ km), the cost of fuel should not a concern at all (and realistically, you wouldn't be buying one of these vehicles if you had to worry about your gas bill anyway).Overall, my final ratings for the car shopping experience is:Customer Experience: 12/10Vehicle Satisfaction: 9.9/10 (not ecstatic about it being made in China)Overall rating: 10/10If you are in the market for a new luxury vehicle, and want some of the best vehicles on the market, combined with the best customer service I've ever experienced, I would HIGHLY recommend that you stop by Volvo Cars Royal Oak as they are the best in the business.
