Olea Restaurant
We visited Olea when it was newly opened. It was a Friday night, and the atmosphere was very lively. It was quite busy, so service was good but not great.Food was delicious with nice flavours. My personal favourites were the Mussel Saffron Soup and the Albacore Tuna for the starters and the Pear & Brie Pizza for the main.

Great intro experience to this restaurant. Nice room, friendly folks, free parking. We did the Food Expo Prix Fixe which was a really good deal.Their take on Shrimp & Grits was outstanding - Shrimps, tomatoes, olives and cherizo floating on some textury cheese polenta. I hope they put it on their regular menu.Then a beef shortrib with a portabella mushroom pasta - a really impressive dish, impossible to finish at one sitting, the leftovers were great for dinner.The dessert was almost too pretty to eat - for a minute. Superbright lime custard, tart, sweet, colorful.We will return soon to try the pizzas and salads that were all around us. Great lunch.

My Husband and I had an amazing dinner experience here! The staff were friendly, inviting, and knowledgeable. The cocktails were delicious and well balanced - not to mention gorgeous to look at. The food was beyond incredible (get the squash rigatoni for dinner or the bananas foster bread pudding for dessert and thank me later). The interior of the dining room felt cozy and intimate... Nothing but great things to say about this place. We will for sure be back.

We just love it here. We have never ordered anything we didn't like. My sm5 year old had the meatballs and said they were the best he had ever had!We tried the flatbread for the first time it was perfectly gooey and sweet.Our favourite on the menu is the albacore tuna and once again it didn't disappoint

Overall, nice environment and ambiance. The Caesar salad wasn’t the best. The lettuce taste like it wasn’t washed. The Squash Rigatoni was my favourite, so much flavour and richness. The Pear and Brie pizza was also delicious except that they put way too much of the truffle honey on top that the pizza instantly got soggy and was hard to eat. We also didn’t receive very friendly service from our waitress which I was disappointed about. I’m open to coming back to give it another try and try a few other items.

Good buzz on the restaurant so the gf and I decided to check it out. 2 tables seated including ours, we ordered Cocktails, Tuna, Wagyu, Lobster & Striploin. Tuna & Wagyu came out in a timely manner, very tasty, well executed. Mains took a little longer but considering there were only 2 tables at that time, the long wait for mains took the excitement out. At that point, Lobster & Striploin arrived at our table. Lobster was awesome, tasted great, Striploin was overcooked (asked for MR, came out MW) so our server got a 2nd one going. Kitchen staff sent us an amuse to wait for the steak but at the time we were getting full. 2nd steak came out, sliced into 4, middle parts were cooked MR but the outside parts were overcooked. Could've been the portioning of the steak, we couldn't finish as we were full already. Overall, food is good, service was ok, might just be a one-off, might try again another time.

A delightful little spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. This place has amazing food and excellent service. The beef carpaccio was great, and the spaghetti and meatballs was the best spaghetti and meatballs we’ve ever had. My only recommendation is for the beef carpaccio, which was very citrusy. It would’ve been better if it had more of the white sauce. Overall a great place for date night or to spend time with friends and family.

Stopped by for dinner with a friend on a Friday evening. The cocktail I ordered was visually gorgeous. All the food we ordered was very flavourful (the squash rigatoni and the pear and brie pizza, along with a couple desserts). The server was neutral but possibly a little stressed that night.

Enjoyed the meal here. Came on a Friday. It was very busy, full of energy and a had a nice cozy clean vibe, perfect for a cold Calgary night. The food was good, highlight for me was the squash rigatoni, the texture of the pasta was really fantastic, you can tell it’s house made pasta and it has great fresh flavour, pizza was pretty average, but still tasty. Beet salad was a great starter, with great portion size. There is a good drink menu here with some fun cocktails, and quality local beers. The service was ok, felt a little rushed when ordering. Overall it’s a great new spot that we would love to come back to.
