Was not happy with what I saw at around 4:40 pm, Sept 15. I was passing through the parking lot and saw one of your employees dumping 10 pound bags of potatoes into the dumpster from a shopping cart. Why, Manager, would you have your staff do this when so many are hungry in our city? Many would gladly pick and glean through these potatoes and take what is good. But no, you would rather have them thrown out. I just don't get it. I really and truly don't. - - Piper's is otherwise a wonderful place to shop, and I have never had a customer service issue, but this throwing good food away really rots me, no pun intended.

The staff are friendly and even when I called to look for something they checked stock so I didn't waste my time going for the product since it wasn't there. I will say though that you need to look at the product you are buying to ensure nothing is wrong with it. My last trip I needed curtains and there were several I took from the shelf that had visible damage.

Store was clean and tidy. Merchandise was well organized. Staff were helpful when asked a question about location or availability or product. Checkout was simple and fast.

I love shopping at this store typically for local items... Christmas time I purchase mummers, calendars etc for friends and family. They carry purity products and affordable everyday items. The staff were friendly and service was quick.

What can I say it's a barging store. It's ok neat for the amount of items they have there.We were there about hour before closing and there was cleaners mopping and buffing the floors. That seem little too much. I'm not a frequent shopper here so not sure if that is what is the norm. The water in the bucket they were mopping the floor stank too.

This location has a great selection of window dressings and small home furnishings! Medium grocery section, but still a fair selection. You can find clothing (nice selection of Scrub pants and tops) and seasonal items, Newfoundland themed items also. Friendly staff, frequent sales and promotions, large layout, along a bus route or lots of parking available. Lots of other businesses nearby.

Moved here earlier this year and are in the midst of checking out the retail outlets close to where we are living. This retailer is on our return list as it has a good cross selection of merchandise from food to clothing for a smaller outlet.
