Progress Badminton Club

Well I have been playing this court for long time now. Prob are more now. Quality of the court material is lowest now. Direct lighting don’t have shades so can’t see sometime shuttle. Not proper cleaning.

I made a booking and travelled an hour to play badminton. I was told there was a double booking and that my time was being moved even when I said I couldn’t move the time right before I arrived at the location.I feel like if they don’t have better booking software, more notice should have been provided. Everything was very disorganized so it wasted a lot of time.To their credit, they provided a refund when I asked.

Very poor experience at this club. They don’t have air conditioning on half the courts. Not to mention that the some of the courts are clearly unsafe to play on. Panels on the walls are at risk of falling off, yet management doesn’t bother doing anything about them! Washrooms are absolutely FILTHY! Have been booking courts for the past year, and they always have some kind of problem, with some excuse as to what happened. Very poor experiences! There are better badminton courts around the area. Not worth the money.

Ok for beginners. They have more courts and one time cancelled at the last minutes because their more regular players/friends booked. Price is ok.

The place is very dirty and the food prices and other items and are very expensive. The place is very hot on one side during the summer. Washrooms are soooo filthy, courts are very unstable. Underneath benches so much filth. Summer camp is cheap, but there’s only one teacher and like 30 students. It’s too overwhelming. Overall not a place I would come. :(

Played here on a Sunday afternoon in early spring. The lower ceiling side seems fine for recreational play with mats on the floor and a high enough ceiling for most shots. Lighting was even and I could see the shuttle clearly. Temperature was just right inside when it was about 2° outside. Price was reasonable for our group.The higher ceiling side looks like it would be fun to play if you enjoy more variability in your environment. Lighting is intense and it seems breezier. And the echos make it seem livelier. This side got busy the day I was there.Not much parking in the small lot. The driveway into the lot is off Cosintino. Since it is on Progress, there should be plenty of TTC buses passing by if you don't drive.

I contacted Progress sports looking for products listed on their website as shipping was unavailable. The owner told me he would contact me within the day but did not. Products that were available on the website were not. Was then given prices that were wildly above retail. Would not recommend purchasing products from the club.

completely disappointed about string service, drop a racket at the court and pick up with a different place, 10km far away with out any announcement. furthermore, the horizontal string is completely curved, not straight, bad service, even i have paid extra for express and left my racket for almost whole afternoon and evening

We booked court time for 7:30-9:30 pm for our group of 4. Just 15 mins before our appointment the staffed texted us that they doubled booked and was moving us to 8:30-10:30 pm instead. This was unacceptable as it took us an hour to travel there by bus and the only space to wait was outside in the rain/cold as the seats was for all the players.Staff was unprofesional and unapologetic for their mistake. We ended up having to ask for a refund with 2 hours in commute time and wasted bus fare. I never leave negative reviews but wanted to warn others to avoid this place at all cost.After reading that others have encountered the same problem multiple times, this seems like an ongoing issue. I have a feeling this is being done deliberately so they can fill up their later and less desirable times since most people would wait an hour since they are already on the premise. Their schedule is pretty empty after 9:30 pm so it makes sense for them to pull a bait and switch to get later bookings filled up.Definitely would not recommend this business.
