How could a city like ours have such a mismanaged school board? Why can't the staff do their jobs properly? And why isn't anything being done to solve the union corruptions?

really stupid to teach children especially in kindergarten that its okay and normal to change their gender at such a young age, and more of this garbage for this growing illness. Rather than helping them develop a strong foundation for learning and personal growth which should be taught at a young age. literacy, numeracy, physical activity, teamwork, science, nature, health, and safety, the list goes on but seems like the board of education is really stuck on that focus and pushing it. better fix up or most children will move to private or home schooling.

COVID really exposed how terrible and unprepared this school board actually is. Teachers are terrible. They don't want to do their job, and quite frankly can't teach either. Guidance councilors do nothing all day, and struggle with simple tasks that are easily within their reach. Also, keep in mind these were the same teachers who went on strike right before lockdown because they wanted to get paid more, and still allegedly claim they did it for the students."It was never a good idea to cram in 6 months of course material into 8 weeks. Quite literally pathetic."

The senior management is a joke here. Frequent change of courses and poor planning. It's an education board that is focusing on political correctness, but not education. I am not surprise at all that students did poorly in the EQAO. I would give it a negative if it's possible.

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is an English first language secular public school board that serves the City of Toronto, including the Toronto Islands. Currently the school board operates one elementary school on the Islands, Island Public/Natural Science School on Centre Island. As of 2013 the school has 179 students. 15% of the student population originates from Algonquin and Ward islands and about 85% of the students live in the city and take ferry transportation to schoolOther TDSB schools attended by students that live on the Island include The Waterfront School, Jarvis Collegiate Institute, Central Technical School, Central Commerce Collegiate Institute, and Northern Secondary School. However, these schools are located on the mainland.

if there is a negative rating, I would rate it below 1 star. The teachers are not responsible for their work. When students need help, the teachers avoid the question and keep listing out students' problems without giving a proof. Besides, it is poor management system where they are too much work to do and students are nearly wanting to die because of TDSB

Strike before covid, teachers are off work paid to be at home. Home during covid teachers are paid. Now, another strike. Teachers are home being paid. Single mothers who have to take time off work to take care of their children during these times, NOT PAID. There should at the least be child care for those who can't afford to take time off work AGAIN. Our child who was supposed to be in school 4 years now, in school a year at most. Who pays for the help we need and others need for our children suffering from seperation anxiety due to this? No one is really in it for the children. If they were they wouldn't have allowed this to happen once again. How does this happen again? Healthcare had to work 50 x more since covid, teachers 50x less. Who suffers? The children
