Sunshine Coast Trailhead
Very remote and long hiking trail. The Northern end starts North of Lund BC at Sara Point. This particular place is 4x4 access only. A water taxi service is available to take you to Sara Point from lund if desired . Lots of other well marked access points from hwy 101 along smooth dirt roads accessible by car. Sleeping huts along the way. Powell River section, Sara Point to Saltery Bay, can be roughly a 5 day trek. The whole trail is much longer though. Not certain but I believe the Southern part exits at Langdale BC, near Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast.

Amazing spot. Amazing view.Good camping platforms. They just put up a gorgeous cabin with a table and benchs. There is also a good first aid kit in the cabin.Good locking storage out side for food and rain water reservoir.Definitely going back .

So beautiful there.. but be careful as you need a good 4x4 to get out there. The road is very rough at the end and there is a reason it'd called tow truck alley. Lol

Drove my 4X4 truck in from Lund. I made it in but stopped and parked 1/2 a Km from the cabin. Steep slope down to cabin called 'tow truck alley'. I did not feel it was worth it and walked in the rest of the way.. Very steep scary piece of road. Beautiful cabin. With bear cache & picnic tables.Alternatively you can access the SCT from Bliss Portage a kilometer back - with a 1 km walk along bliss portage trail to take you the SCT. There you'll find Bliss Portage cabin (awesome). A 2wd could make it to that access point.

Looks like there will be a hut in place and couple tent pads on the rock looking over the sea with a brand new pit. 4x4 needed for last 500m with stones and loose ground, we drove a rav4 and parked before final 500m descend.

Tuff road trip on logging roads, tight turns and steep grades with forestry traffic.4x4 recommended.
