I’m so glad I found Lawson Tailor! On the Thursday I was in a pinch to get a new dress altered for a gala on Saturday. Not only did they complete it in 2 days but the work was beautiful! I had bought a size too small and the back zipper basically wouldn’t zip up at all. So they left a bit of the zipper that would do up and converted the rest of it into a corset. The detailing is perfect and it suited the style of the dress so much. Thank you! I’ll be back.

The business owners, Norman and Catherine take a lot of pride in their work. I've only been hiring their services for 1.5 years but know they have been around for at least over two decades of not more. The name Lawson is named after his father (also a tailor), and the son" was added because of that relationship. They know what is trending with every demographic and their work is always spot-on. They also do custom suiting (not sure about shirts) from scratch with a wide assortment of fabrics to choose from. They are efficient and careful

I have visited a couple of tailor shops for the past year or so - looking for someone I can trust to make a great made-to-measure suit, and help me tailor some of the current suits I own. Suit jackets are expensive, so I was looking for someone who I can really count on.This shop, run by Norman Law, is fantastic. The stitching of the suit is very detailed and he got the style of the suit exactly as I requested it. The fit of the suit is probably the best that can be achieved based on a made-to-measure template. He was able to offer me a very high quality of fabric, lining and even a full-canvassed construction for a very very reasonable price.

We brought in an expensive suit jacket and requested that the tailor hem the sleeves a bit. The alteration cost $45, about $10 more than the average price for such an alteration, so for the price one would think that the tailor would have paid more attention to detail, but they simply shortened the sleeve and removed one of the buttons rather than moving the buttons up the sleeve, resulting in a blunt and unattractive look. I saw that previous reviews mentioned free adjustments if the alteration wasn't to one's liking, but when we expressed dissatisfaction when picking up the suit jacket, no such thing was offered. Really not worth the price!

I have visited many different tailor shops and experienced unhappy results. I personally believe you can alternate clothes well if you know how to make clothes. The owner understands how to alternate in order to fit you. Additionally, Lawson has good community reviews and it is well known. The tailor shop is very clean and well organized. I could tell they are professional and take care of clothes nicely unlike other messy tailor shops

Horrible! The owner took the money for alteration ..I explained to him what I need to have done here. I was charged $189 for 2 suits that need altering..I wore one set in trial room..he took the basic measurements and I told him that for the other suit I want it exactly the same (makes sense). I came to pick up my suits next week, as soon as I entered.. The lady asked me for money straight away (red flag).. And her husband gave me the suits and took my receipt. I insisted him that I would like to try it on right there.. But he didn't quite let me and said my alteration is fine. I came home only to find out that the other suit jacket seems bigger than the other one..I went back..he said he didn't alter that and he would charge me extra for that.. Even though I paid initially and told him clearly what I want done. Definitely not a good way of running business.. several red flags noted!
