Into The Music

I may be a bit bias as I have been going to Into the Music since I was a little kid (The original Osborne store) Some of the original staff helped shape some of my musical tastes growing up. I had not been in the new store much in recent years due to Covid etc. Maybe been in there a few times since they rearranged the store to the current lay out but not much. I recently inherited my father's record collection. I had called around and had a few people come and look at the collection. Some were very respectful, others just came across as pushy salesmen. One I believe even ripped my dad off just before he passed. Greg however was on a whole another level. He came in and spent most of the day going thru stuff. Went into great detail explaining his breakdowns on what he was willing to pay, and offered way more than anyone else. He also gave me some store credit so I could get some fun stuff for myself as well. He also taught me a few things about both my father's and my own collection. Greg clearly cares about what he does. It is just something rare to see in this day and age. It was very hard for me to get rid of this collection (of course I kept a ton as well) as it was such an important part of my dad's life...he truly was a vinyl junkie. It was nice to see someone give the respect to the collection it deserved. On a side note my dad was in that store so often...that is him on the store's cover photo.

Amazing record store! Tons of vinyl and cds, and I especially liked that 90’s and 2000’s items were separated from the boomer tunes. Worth a visit if you in Winnipeg! You might just find a rare piece for your collection.

Great place to get your latest LP releases and also find a treasure from 50 years ago! Well laid out store so there's room to explore.

This is the best record store in the city but the selection isn’t great because of how many people shop here. All of their stuff is really high quality. When I buy a used record here I feel like I’m buying a brand new one even if it’s from the 50s

A most definite highlight whenever we travel to Winnipeg. I always find treasures to add to my ever growing music collection.Great staff, great prices and selection! This store stands out from other record shops in the city mainly because it is spacious and bright inside. It is also well organized, has lots to choose from, and staff seems really friendly.

The best record store in the city (in my opinion). The collection is very diverse and every time I walk into the store i never leave empty handed. As well as having a great record collection, the costumer service is just as good. I definitely recommend checking the store out. 10/10.

Lovely little shop to grab your favourite albums from! The vibe here is awesome and they have a moderately good selection of music, although I did have trouble finding certain albums and bands, they usually have popular albums from the bands you love! Perfect if you just started collecting records! The employees are so nice and some will even let you geek out about music with them! I give 4/5 stars would give 5 but, the selection was not the greatest.
