The Tea Girl

Nice atmosphere and huge variety of tea flavours and hot chocolate. I recently tried the Raspberry Passion infused Hot Chocolate with coconut cream (non-dairy) and it was delicious. The interior vintage decor makes the place very cozy. Lots of seats to choose.

You get to pick your tea off the tea wall, then you get to pick which tea cup you want to drink out of!The staff are super nice!

One of the cozy nooks that can be found along 124st! The squishy armchairs, eclectic collection of tableware & cups makes it welcoming for anyone at anytime. They have a large tea collection that you can pick from, as well as other tea based beverages, hot and cold. The staff has treated us with nothing but kindness everytime we're there, so what's not to like? They're generous & will refill your tea with hot water to keep your conversation going without a pause.

Love The Tea Girl! She has so many varieties to choose from and answers any questions in a timely manner. Her teas pack a punch of flavour and stand up in a tea latte! The vanilla chai, cream earl grey and baked cinnamon apple are my favourites.

This place has a great tea selection. You can look at a wall of them and then just take what you want to the front. The food is also good. I had a veggie panini and a turkey panini, both were delicious and had interesting sauces that complimented their proteins.The look of it is interesting too as all the chairs are different and vintage. There's lots of comfy sitting chairs.I only give four stars though because for a place that specializes in tea youd think they'd know not to serve it in a French press. That's all they serve it in if you get more than a cup. Your first cup will be delicious! Your last cup will be gross because it sat over the leaves the whole time.

No one knew how long she was there for, but her unseasoned behaviour would have you believe she was of the old school in the woodlands. She was obsessed with tea, and therefore became known as the Tea Girl. As she began to adapt to the world on the prairie, she felt a void. Something was missing. A saltiness, an umami, she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. One day, someone came through the door. He was holding something different. A vessel with more depth and broadness than her typical tea cup. What was inside? She asked for a taste, he obliged, and to her surprise the vacancy within her vanished. Unique and cozy location with a large variety of different teas to choose from. Enjoy picking your own cup and order tea in a variety of different sizes. Not much of a selection for treats or snacks. Would not recommend this place if you have any food allergies.

I love this place. I love the tea choices, the eclectic tea cups and chairs, and the desserts. I recommend Tea Girl to everyone visiting 124th street. Tip: Order the large pot of tea and split it with a friend. Hot water refills are free!
