If I could give this company 0 stars I would. My partner and I just moved to Whitby, ON and chose this company based off reviews and their ability to allow us to hire just man power to unload our truck. Not only has the customer service been extremely poor - movers showed up an hour late, dropped/hit furniture and items off walls and door ways, needed the be micromanaged because they were unable to take basic instruction. My partner and I did our best to guide them around, but they came unprepared to assemble furniture (which we were told was included in the service) but we also hadTo help them assemble items that could easily be put together by one person. The company charges a flat rate + HST for 3 hours even if you don’t need the movers for 3 hours. We had the movers for just under an hour and a half and we’re charged $606 in the end. We have called the company many times to enquire about what has happened to our deposit and where our reciept is. Every time we call it’s like a game a phone tag because they try and hang up on you the second you’ve asked a question! I almost wonder if they delete their poor reviews to keep their company at the top of the list for people’s choice movers in the Durham region. What a headache.
