Since the beginning of the Pandemic my Son and Daughter have been training with Sifu Julian and the rest of his team. Not only has Julian become my Son's idol, he is great with all the Children, helping them succeed and keeping them smiling and feeling confident. It is an excellent place for youngs ones to learn independence and have fun all while being taught diverse Martial Arts, self defense and discipline. Our kids actually 'beg us' to sign them up to the Camps (which are rated Number One in Cambridge) throughout the year.Thanks so much for all you have done for us Julian and your amazing Team! We are so proud to be apart of the Hot Shot/Shamuon organization.

My son has been attending Hotshot since April 2020. During this time not only has his confidence improved but he is more focused. Sifu Julian and his team are very professional with teaching classes and also make it fun and enjoyable for all the kids. I highly recommend this place to any parent!!

Hotshot Athletic is without a doubt the top facility in Cambridge for martial arts. During the pandemic they continuously put the effort forward to keep the kids active and engaged with virtual lessons both live and pre recorded in order for the kids to have something to do 7 days a week with structure and activity!They have provided learning opportunities for all their students so they can continue to grow as leaders both inside and outside of the club.You can tell Sifu Julian and the whole Hotshot team absolutely love what they do and they are instilling that love and dedication into each and everyone of their students!Highly recommend to anyone looking for recreational classes of even highly competitive!

A top notch martial arts facility! Our son has been training at Hotshot Athletic Martial Arts for over 2.5 years and absolutely loves it! All of the instructors are fantastic. The attention to detail in both group instruction and one on one private lessons is phenomenal. Our son has been given the opportunity to grow, not just in his own martial arts skills, but has been given incredible leadership opportunities through assisting with lower belt classes. There are so many amazing opportunities including competition team, tournaments, social events and camps. Hotshot is a very welcoming and supportive family. Our son has made so many wonderful friendships.

My youngest son and I joined Hotshot Athletics Martial Arts last July, and since then we both have been working so hard at learning a variety of forms and techniques from Sifu Julian and the entire team. Sifu Julian is encouraging, motivating and loves engaging with the children and makes us all laugh. Since we joined my son and I have seen not only growth but strength in our bodies. We are both now yellow belts and moving on towards our orange belts. Sifu Julian puts in the time, dedication, and heart into all programs he offers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

My husband, my children and I have been training at Hotshot Athletic Martial Arts for over a year, and when you're going somewhere 4 consecutive days every week, for the adult and children's classes, I think it's a fair description to call it: our second home. And it truly has been feeling like home! Sifu Julian has this incredible positive energy and attitude emanating out of him and uplifting everyone around him, and the kids absolutely adore him! He is professional, kind, serious and uncompromising about teaching the children discipline and respect and giving them guidelines for staying healthy and safe, while at the same time goofy and playful, so he makes the kids feel very comfortable in class. His team of qualified instructors are, just like him, all world class martial artists, but aside from that, and most importantly, in my opinion, they are all really, really nice, kind-hearted, down to earth people! So it is, truly, a wonderful experience to be a member of this martial arts club, not only as a participant in class, but as a parent sitting down to watch the kids perform in their classes. It's also very endearing to watch a brother (Sifu Julian), a sister (Sifu Silvana) and their father, Sibok, all together in the front row, leading the children's classes together, because it's really not just about performing physical activities and learning a martial arts style, it's about family values as well, and the mutual respect that is necessary between the family members to achieve something like what they have achieved in their family, which is: to stay together, to work together, to support each other, to have a harmonious family, at a time when families are struggling to remain united, especially in the culture and the times we live in. Martial arts aim at building a person's self confidence and character, but I truly feel that at Hotshot Athletic, my children are learning something much more than to defend themselves and to stand on their own 2 feet. I feel that they are being immersed into strong family values, and learning to be people of integrity, people who are grounded, strong, who are less likely to fall victim to peer pressure and life-destroying habits. And they are doing that, by becoming part of a wonderful community, which is what Sifu Julian and his family have been building around them, by showing up at class, and by following their example. My husband and I feel that it's a wonderful place for our children to practice and grow up in, and we are immensely grateful for the opportunity of having met Sifu Julian and his family and for being able to learn martial arts from them! Oh, and i haven't touched on their after school events and camps yet... They organize, by far, hands down, T H E BEST, most interactive, summer camps, March break camps, PD day camps, holiday events, and all sorts of other activities for kids, and aside from the martial arts classes, they have lots of other fun programs as well, like acrobatics and conditioning programs for all ages. I can't think of any other place in town, or around, that could keep my hyperactive 9 year old more entertained than Hotshot Athletic! Thank you, Sifu Julian! Our family is very grateful for Hotshot Athletic and for your contribution, and that of your instructors, to our lives!

Cannot recommend Hot Shot Athletic enough! Both of my kids started almost a year and a half ago and absolutely love their classes, Sifu Julian and all of the club’s staff. Since starting, I have noticed a huge boost in confidence in both of my children especially in our daughter who now has the goal of getting her black belt one day.The programming is also fantastic - from summer camps, PA days, March and Christmas break, to parent’s nights out - Hot Shot has got you covered.

We have loved our experience with Hotshot Athletic Martial Arts. We signed our son up in the fall, and he still looks forward to going every week. We have even began doing private lessons once a month as he enjoys it so much. Sifu Julian and his team are very professional.
