Ottawa Derm Centre

It's been almost a year since I went here to treat minor scars on my face. A person after checking my face for 30 seconds suggests that I get a pico laser treatment for 3 sessions or more. I did get the treatment over the next several months. I have not seen any improvements (zero difference). Then they suggested that I try 3 more sessions. When I said, no, they suggested a facial ointment. I used it for several months and still see zero improvement.Here is what I think about this centre:1. They are a sales company. They don't care about improving your condition. Instead of choosing what's best for you, they go for treatments that are most profitable for them.2. They never talk about any skincare routines. They don't give any advice on how to take better care even when asked. They only want to sell their stuff.3. They don't put any effort into diagnosis.4. They don't follow any proper approach. Usually other centers suggest simpler non intrusive approaches before trying something more intrusive.5. The pictures they show are edited and they gaslight you into believing the changes are real. They don't share the pictures with you even after asking multiple times as they are heavily edited.They always end with 'results may vary', 'it depends' while suggesting expensive treatments. I can find these statements on any random website. I want to hear statements of higher confidence levels when I am speaking to a professional.Overall, not very professional, they make money off of people's insecurities with little concern to solving any problems. They gaslight you, try to make you a regular customer promising various treatments regularly. Avoid them please.

Everyone was extremely friendly, and informative. My appointment was on time and very thorough. There was no pressure to make any immediate decisions on treatment options and I was provided with excellent service and felt very comfortable. In addition to all of that, the facility is extremely clean, well lit and well taken care of. As soon as you walk in, you can feel a sense of ‘being in good hands’. 5 stars

Such a great experience at Ottawa Derm Centre. I went in for a skin consult and everything ran on time, no waiting around for my appointment. They were very informative and helpful in explaining my options. Would highly recommend!

All of the staff are so kind, friendly and personable. They truly seem to care about us the patient and our wellbeing. Dr Bonaparte is patient, kind, professional and reassuring. I strongly recommend their services. I will have more to say after the procedure. :)

From start to finish the service was fantastic.At reception, I was greeted right away, very friendly and helpful.Once I went in, nurse Vanessa, who performed the treatment, was simply fantastic. She talked to me about my issues, explained what the options were and the timeline for them.The Dr then came in to confirm everything, and she was very nice as well. Once confirmed, I agreed to treatment, and within 15 minutes, we were done.Some of the best service I've had. Almost can't wait for my follow up appointment.

As per your request for review.The Ottawa Derm Clinic is very accessible to the public with a large parking area, However when I arrived and checked in, I was lead to an examination room only to be moved 3 times with different staff telling me they put me in the wrong room only to end up back in the room I started lol. The Clinic is extremely clean , quiet and tasteful decorating if I my say so.My appointment for carpal tunnel issues went smoothly with Dr Chitte .He was polite and to the point lol. No BS from this man.! He knows his stuff! He presented different options to help me while I await for him to start the first surgery. Hopefully not a long wait! Thanks Doc ! See you soon!

Amazing well organized event. The staff were quick to accommodate everyone with booked appointments and even managed walk-ins as well. The young doctor who saw both my husband and me was very thorough and took the time to address all of our concerns. Thank you so much!!

I booked an appointment for Botox in my cheek muscles because of TMJ … to reduce the effects of teeth grinding. This was my first appointment with them (my previous clinic had closed because the owner/Dr had retired). My previous Dr had recommended this location for continuation of my ongoing treatment. I was greeted well. This is a beautiful, modern and clean clinic. The staff was professional and knowledgeable which made me feel like I was in good hands. I felt absolutely nothing as I was being injected. The cost breakdown was clear and reasonable. I will be returning. I would recommend them.

Today I saw Dr. James and I had inquired about a nose job and he said to me that I didn’t need one instead of pushing a nose job on me he asked what exactly bothered me about my face and instead I received Botox and fillers. Which at first I didn’t want that cause the previous doctor who had injected fillers before didn’t even make a change to my face. This time however I saw a difference right away and I still have filler left for my check up in 2 weeks. I am completely satisfied with Dr. James he was very professional and I felt very confident he was doing everything right and he is very easy on the eyes this also was nice.
