Erie Cove Restaurant

We ended up walking out. No haddock, no ice, no grilled chicken, no soup, no chili, fried uncooked, ordered entre6side salads but got side salad portions, my salad was wrong twice, etc we left there to go eat elsewhere :( worst experience

Went in at 5:30 on a Sunday. Place was empty. Heard someone doing dishes in the back and panting very loudly. Decided to find a table. Waited for 10min and nobody came out to take our order or even acknowledge we were there. Got up and left. No wonder it was empty.

Should have read reviews first.. as another person said was awkward coming in not knowing if we were to seat ourselves or wait to be seated .. ordered a Pepsi which was served in a can with no offer of a glass r straw.. food came fairly quickly but very unappealing. Pink coleslaw was not fresh , perch had no flavor the batter tasted like flour. Table was sticky ketchup was stickyDon't waste your money

If I could put zero stars I would. My experience from start to finish was one of the worst. One lady working the restaurant by herself who was rude, unprofessional, looked like she worked in a prison kitchen! Everything, the surfaces, the vinegar bottles, salt and pepper shakers was sticky. The food was bland, to say the least. I felt nauseous after eating there. Food quality is a problem as well.Restroom was disgusting too! DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! At all costs.

The fish were really well done, fresh flavour and not too greasy.I'd say the best place to get some fish in Port Burwell.

If I could give lower than one star I really would. We decided to come here because we were in the area, the recent google reviews seemed good and they allowed dogs on their patio. We picked a spot to sit on the patio and a very young man came out to take our order. He wrote down everything we ordered and even took the time to ask questions while he was writing which seemed promising (we ordered drinks and a lot of food).35 minutes then passes and he has passed us a couple times to bring other people their food and nothing has been brought to our table... Finally he comes over and asks if anything has been brought out to us... which we told him no. Then he apologizes and walks away for a second. He returns and then asks if we would like to order anything.... We stare blankly at him as we had thought we had done that 40 minutes ago... Nothing was done with our original order, he didn't even remember what it was or writing it down... he didn't even seem to have the paper he wrote the original order on anymore... we left without food after sitting there for 40 minutes.. HORRIBLE experience.

Unless you are grabbing a quick drink, please read the reviews before coming here, I unfortunately did not until it was too late. It looked like a nice place to eat considering the location. The young guy taking our order did not fit the job description for a waiter at all, wasn’t rude just very quiet, awkward, and unsure. Might have been stoned or something not sure. I ordered a foot long hot dog which was on the menu to have him come back 5 minutes later and tell me that there was none. I could hear him and the older man in the kitchen talking about it and just talking I’m general, It was annoying to listen to while I was trying to enjoy myself with my wife. The debit machines were not working so we had to go across the street to use the ATM. The older man said “come back we have really good food” after he told us we had to go use the ATM. Everything in there is from the 70s it looks like and not really the cleanest. I got burger and fries and she got Cesar salad. Fake bacon bits, burger I could have cooked at home, Kraft singles and ditaliano buns. Enough said.... sorry for the employees who read this but I know you already know what’s up.

Horrible service!When we first walked in we went to the front cash as we didn’t know if we should just take a seat or if we’d be seated. We were asked what we wanted and where we were sitting… I said ‘we are not sitting anywhere we just got here’We choose to sit outside and ordered beer as we looked over the menu. We were then ignored for about 20 mins, when we inquired the waitress said ‘I think she’s making your drinks’ … how does one make beer?!!?A few minutes later we were told they were out of the beer we ordered… so we got something different and then finally got to order food. We ordered 1 two piece fish dinner to share. When the food finally arrived we were given 1 two piece dinner and 1 one piece dinner…that was delivered by someone other than our waitress, we advised this wasn’t what we ordered, he left to inquire and came back saying it was a mix up and that we’d only be charged for 1 dinner, which was fine. But our waitress NEVER came back to check on us or to apologize for the mix up, eventually we had to go back up to the chase and ASK to pay. There was another couple sitting near us who was also ignored after ordering their drinks and the man went inside and ASKED to order their food! The woman said she thought it was just them being ignored, I ensured her it wasn’t just them!Maybe this is understandable if the place was busy, but it wasn’t! there was maybe 4 table in total.

Nice restaurant. The perch platter is delicious and the waitress was friendly. The owner even came by our table and asked if everything was ok-no complaints

Service was awful, order to serve time was 30 min in EMPTY RESTAURANT DURING LUNCH! The decor was idk what, the food was awful, a mix between burnt BBQ scraps and trashed veg. I mean come on.
