Found a chair only one we liked in stock on the island.. I wanted two the same..... $1399 ea take 20% off cost $1121... plus taxCall North Van La-Z-Boy franchise they have same chairs none in same materialThey're price $1179 no tax .Seems quite the price difference if there wasn't a weekend sale on.

Sales service was excellent. Furniture looks good. However, I will not purchase from there again due to high cost. Quality compared to less expensive brands does not justify high cost.

Initially upon entering this store we were treated very warmly and professionally. Pam was exceptionally nice and boasted about Lazy Boys Top customer service and customer satisfaction . We did buy a couch that day. The day they said our couch would be delivered we stayed home all day waiting and our couch did not arrive . I called the store and Pam was so sincerely apologetic that she offered me free delivery and a $100 store credit . When our couch did arrive we knew instantly that we had made a mistake . It did not suite our house or our living room . It was more of an entertainment couch made for a media room . Pam called that afternoon and I told her I wasn’t sure we would keep it and that I knew I had 7 days in which to decide . Her tone completely changed . Not the friendly lady anymore . The next week I called the store 6 times to try to arrange a day that they could come pick up the couch so I could return it . They were not interested in talking to me . They kept passing the buck . Finally after 6 calls arrangements were made for the couch to be picked up . Two weeks later they still had not refunded me . Again I had to call the store a few times to try to get my money back . Maybe they wanted to keep my money to make month end on their sales . I am not giving Lazy Boy a bad name . I have lots of furniture from there. It’s just THIS store I would stay away from.

Staff at the Nanaimo store are knowledgeable, polite and helpful. They were able to answer all my questions, answer a few I didn’t know to ask, leave me time to browse alone and help me out with both price and scheduling when done. Thanks guys; looking forward to my new comfy chair!

Pleasantly surprised by our shopping experience at the new store. Great selection and Salesperson Taihonu Kaiwi did a great job listening to our needs and showing us options that were best for us. We ended up buying a beautiful leather couch that was the best fit for us after visiting almost every furniture store in the city.Will definitely shop here again.

I have been dealing with Anthony Burns, who has been ultra helpful in assisting my choices, extremely knowledgeable, and goes ‘outside the box’ in order to accommodate his clients.
