DO NOT GO HERE. Find a different post office.Tldr: Bizarre experience with a rude, unhelpful employeeA few weeks ago my husband and I encountered a bizarre, disorienting experience with a post office employee. We both went into the office (with masks) as my husband is disabled and needed assistance. Jaclyn greeted us at the counter (no mask) and we spoke about our mailing needs. Her demeanor changed as soon as we mentioned we were mailing to Japan. She put our package into an envelope and gave us an address slip to fill out. We filled it out, using the same counters everyone else was using, and gave her the slip. She said she couldn't read it, we apologized, and showed her the address on our phone so she could type it into the computer. During this entire time she was sighing, making tsk sounds, giving us dirty looks, and tapping her fingers - she really did not want to help us. She looked at our phone for 2 seconds and said nevermind, I'll use the slip. Once she was done, we asked her to please spell out the address she used so that we could confirm (we were mailing priority shipping which costs a lot so wanted reassurance it was correct). She sighed and angrily said she couldn't do that. We asked why and she said that's not how it works, then angrily pointed at a sign that says please fill out your packages at home". We pointed out that we rarely mail anything and that we didn't have post office supplies at home (which is why we went there in the first place). Shipped one item to the USA expedited and paid $19, went back the next day to the same item to a different person in Canada and they charged me $23 for ground shipping even though I asked for expedited? Quite confused as to why it’s more expensive to ship in Canada than it is to ship faster to the United States? Next time I’ll take my business to Fed Ex, UPS etc

I had such a wonderful experience! I Went today there, around 9:20 am. They guy who helped me to return my shipment was very helpful, and he welcomed me with a beautiful smile. I was there for just 3 minutes. Keep the good work up.

This post office is being the worst or people who do deliveries are very unprofessional with their job, I receive my mail a month after it was sent, because the delivery guy drops them in different adresses and they return to the post office then post office mails them to the correct adress. I lived in Coquitlam for years and never experienced such horrible service as I am experiencing in Surrey. They don't even have a phone number to call and complain about their service.

Delivered my package to the wrong address. They are claiming it was the fault of the seller but seller showed me proof that he labelled the package with my name and address. I called to tell Canada Post their error, and they state that the seller has to call them with the service ticket number to start the insurance process. Pretty sure sellers in China aren't going to get up in the night to call Canada Post to deal with something they messed up.I often go next door to pick up my packages they misdeliver, but no luck this time.They scan the package. They know the time and the carrier by who it was delivered. They even have the name of the person who supposedly signed for it. Seems straight forward.

This will be the best tip you receive in 2017, I promise....if you want to de-stress your experience dealing with Canada Post & you live in North Surrey, this is the location to visit!Best post office available in the Surrey area. All of the staff at this location are incredibly helpful, polite, efficient & overall great. I'm in & out in 5 minutes, on average, even when I've got multiple packages to ship. They'll even tell you when you can save a few bucks, which I very rarely run across when it comes to Canada Post. You can also request that all your incoming packages be shipped to this location rather than Central City, making formerly aneurysm-inducing trips to pick up your mail a BREEZE!This is the ONLY post office my family uses now, despite the fact that they're closed weekends & are only open til 5PM (which really needs to be extended). Their storefront takes me 3 minutes to drive to, is right on King George with FREE parking directly out front, is very clean, well organized & easily accessible, and has a nice, bright, open area with their shipping supplies neatly displayed. You're never crowded in there with crowds of sweaty people, all on the verge of going postal themselves. They also carry more shipping supplies than the Central City location. THIS is a REAL POST OFFICE which actually provides timely, professional service.If you normally use the-joke-of-a-half-assed-post-office in Central City mall - which very rarely has both their cashiers open even when their lineups stretch into the mall, whose service reps are *lazy*, *slow* & more concerned with LOOKING busy than actually assisting customers, and which doesn't carry any supplies such as prepaid shipping boxes - do yourself a favor & visit this Canada Post location. You'll literally be amazed at the difference from the moment you walk in, I promise you. I was floored!I can't say enough good things about this post office. The location, parking, service level, staff, available shipping supplies & even the building are great. It may be a couple of blocks further if you live in the Central City area & it may close a little earlier but you'll be in & out in record time with a smile on your face, something that can't be said for the other local options available.

What happened to Neither rain sleth

Post office is good. Drivers, not so good. They keep delivering my packages when I'm not home to some place like 5Km away despite that this post office is less than a Km away. I attended the office and the staff were polite, helpful, and responsive.
