New owners are great, super helpful and know their stuff. Stop in every time I'm in the area to see what new section of lures and tackle they have. Baits always fresh and lively.

We were in to purchase a new rod. While the salesperson was in the middle of our transaction a woman came into the store with a broken buckle on her flipper. He completely abandoned us and looked after her for 10-15 minutes. If it were not for the fact that there are no other in-town options for purchasing a rod we would have walked out. Very unprofessional.

A very great store. The people that work there are very nice people and know what they are doing. Has everything you could ever need for fishing and scuba gear. If you have not already, check the store out, you wont be disapointed

I would definitely recommend Diver’s Nook if you’re looking to rent diving gear or looking for local dive advice. I had never dived in the area before and Tony was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer the questions when we needed clarification. The regs, BCDs, and tanks we rented were in good shape, clean, well maintained, and worked well.I’m not sure what sort of interactions would have elicited a strong response from Tony as mentioned in some of the other reviews, but if I had to guess, I would say he was either standing up for himself and his shop, or he was being pushed around by aggressive customers. Show up with a decent attitude and being willing to pay for the stuff you’re buying and I can’t imagine getting better service!I would second that the website needs a bit of updating, but I can still give him 5 stars because he answered all of my questions over the phone when I called to clarify, and his hours/service are fantastic, even on long weekends during the summer.Thanks for everything Tony, and I look forward to hopefully renting from you again next thanksgiving!

Been going here for years. New owners have beefed up stock and prices are very reasonable! A great stop for all your fishing needs in Parry Sound!

Great place for minnows and some fishing gear

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! THEY ARE HIGHWAY ROBBERS!!!!! We stopped there on our way up north to grab some bait. We bought 3 dozen minnows, two dozen worms and a minnow bucket which came to $100. The cost for those items should have been no more than $60. STAY AWAY!!!!!! BUY YOUR BAIT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

The new owners were friendly and helpful. They honored sales from previous owner, I had a rod that broke while casting, they gave me credit on a new rod .

New owners are great, all you need when fishing in the area, very helpful if you want to find a charter.
