Solow Henry Dr

This review and rating is for Dr. Henry Solow.  My Husband passed away under his care.  Henry Solow would not respond to my Husband’s email or voicemail messages. My Husband complained about uneasiness, pain, colored nails, shortness of breath but he just ignored it all. Everything we took my Husband to the emergency and a report was sent to Henry Solow, he always indicated that it was due to constipation, he never investigated or did further checkup or tested my Husband. Finally we took my Husband to Toronto General Hospital where they diagnosed that he had Pulmonary Embolism  for which they started treatment but it was too late as the damage was done.  The Drs at Toronto General clearly stated that the damage to my Husband's lungs were purely due to the negligence of the treatment provided my Henry Solow.  This type of people should not be allowed to practice. I lost my Husband and our Children lost their Father but why shoukd Henry solow care. Is he seeing patients for money...why is he still practicing and why doesn't CPSO do something about it better than covering for his negligence. He did not even bother calling us even after he realized that my Husband passed away. He has no human value. Regret starting the treatment with Henry Solow.

Dr. Solow was amazing doing my bone marrow. He was kind and explain the procedure step by step. It takes away all the fear and anxiety about the procedure.

Very Patient in explaining and listening to our father's health and needs.

I’ll give him 0 star. Our appointment is 12:00, they called us to reschedule to 2:00pm. We came to his office early, but still waited 2 hours. No reason for waiting!

The oncologists here are absolutely amazing. Dr. Trinkaus is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors around. Very flexible with fitting you in.

Dr. solow was my mother’s doctor, my mother recently passed away, my sister and I traveled from the states to Canada to be with my mother in her last few days. Not once did we see or hear from Dr solow the whole time we were at the hospital with my mother, nor did we hear anything from him after my mother passed! His bedside manner does not leave too much to be desired! There is a whole lot more I could say but for now I’m going to keep it short and sweet and just suggest that he retires. He has no time for his patients or his patients families!!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Lost my Dad under his care a year and a half ago. I wanted to write this when I was less emotional so that I could be objective and not subjective. It's still stings to write this, however, I can stick to the facts.My Dad passed away under his care. He would Hodgkins Lymphoma. While doing chemo, my Dad complained about shortness of breath, purple fingers and just a lot of pain and difficulty. Dr. Solow told my Dad that it was the chemo and that's how it worked. My Dad, having entrusted his life with Dr. Solow, listened to him and kept doing the chemo treatments. He had 8 chemo sessions. Each session my Dad became worse and worse. He complained about not being able to breathe and could barely walk after the 6th session. Still Dr. Solow insisted that he finish the 7th and 8th session, even though my Dad's tumours were gone since the 4th chemo session.After the chemo, my Dad was forced to do radiation. After the second radiation session, my Dad was hospitalized. At that point his breathing was so bad, he couldn't even breathe on his own.While hospitalized, at Toronto General because Markham Stouville where Henry Solow resides is a JOKE OF A HOSPITAL, Toronto General diagnosed my Dad with Interstitial Lung Disease, which meant that his lungs were so damaged by the chemo and radiation, that it was irreversible.They gave my Dad 2-3 days to live and said that it was because of the way Dr. Henry Solow had administered the drugs and treatment. He had done such a poor job that it killed my Dad, while Henry Solow still gets to practice medicine and spend time with his kids.My Dad was murdered by Henry Solow. He is NO DOCTOR. The worst medical practicioner I have come across.If you love someone, please DO NOT put them in care of Henry Solow.
