I was hesitant to go here after I read the negative reviews, however I am glad I gave it a try because I can't think of a bad thing to say. All staff are friendly, it's clean, and I asked a million questions and they were able to answer them with confidence. There is a new owner so I think that's where the positive shift is from - if you have any concerns past or present, I'd definitely reach out to her to discuss them!

Tanning here is such a great experience. The staff is so friendly and helpful, their beds are hot, and it's always so clean! I also got my lashes done by Keri here and she did an amazing job and was so gentle. I highly recommend Riverbend Fabutan.

Great beds, great and knowledgeable staff, should have stand up beds but lay downs work too...Bit pricey, but where isn't these days?! LoL

Awesome beds , the employees are all super nice and helpful and tiffany is so sweet and caring . I definitely wont go to any other locations!!

This is quite litterally the BEST studio I have visited in the whole city. I have been to Callingwood, Windermere, Downtown (Oliver) and Sherwood Park locations. None of them compare to Riverbend. The closest location to me is Calligwood, however I go out of my way to drive an extra 15 minutes just to visit Riverbend. Their staff are the BEST, most friendly staff I have had the pleasure of meeting. They never push product or try to sell you. They do let you know about great deals, but what retail store doesn't? They are also SUPER understanding. I have had to call and cancel at the last minute and they were so accepting. They had the right to take minutes from me (which makes sense-if you book an appointment, you are responsible to show up or give adequate notice, that's common courtesy). But they DID NOT charge me or remove any minutes (other peope complained about this?! Which is backwards from my experience). The studio is always SUPER clean. They have towels in every room and a stand where you can just grab more and go at any momment. I could go on. I have no understanding of where or how there are any negative comments on here. I visit this place almost every single day (for red light therapy), and every other day (for tanning) and it just does not compute with my experience at all. It seems to me that the writer of the bad reviews is possibly thinking of somewhere else?! Because I have a really hard time believing it's the same place that I go to. I would not choose to drive further from my house to visit a tanning studio that treated people the way the negative comments describe. Does that make any sense to you?

This is the Best Tanning studio I have ever been to as the staff are amazing. The owner knows how to hire staff as I have been going there for years and no matter who is there, they make you feel special. They always remember your name, find time for you and make you feel like you matter.

I love this location. I just started going two weeks ago and at first was nervous because I have never been before, but the New Owner and her very trained staff have gone to great lengths to make me feel very comfortable.

The employees are always welcoming and ask how you're doing. They get to know you and remember your name. The salon is clean and never messy. I've never had a bad experience at this location; the manager is especially awesome. She's so friendly and knowledgeable about the products that Fabutan sells.I would definitely recommend this location! It's my favorite.

Scamming customers by forcing you to buy one of their lotions to be allowed in to use the tanning minutes already purchased, unique to this location. Wasted my time and judging by the fact that their beds were empty when I came in and still empty when I walked out having not used them, probably not a smart policy. Although maybe helps them sell more of their overpriced, unnecessary lotions

Re-lash done with a new lash tech to me. The end result of a complicated sessionwhere I almost lost an eye...my lashes looked amazing again. Not sure if I will risk going back to this salon.
