We luckily stumbled across the restaurant late-evening on a Monday night, as many others on the street were closed.When entering you are immediately greeted by a gorgeous fireplace set-up, in a room adjacent to the dining area. The dining area itself was wonderfully set up, with a warm and elegant Christmas feel.The service at Tavola is one that MUST be experienced first hand. The waiter on duty was extremely attentive to detail, and had shown a level of service that is only seen in the most refined of dining spaces.The music during our evening was elegant and smooth. A combination of soft instrumental and classic blues. This is a one of a kind place to enjoy fine dining and high service in the area.The food at Tavola is delightful, with a wonderfully curated menu of local products. The presentation, taste and quality of the plates were exceptional. The chef at this establishment added to the wonderful experience with his hospitality and craft.Recommended: Just about anything on the menu is sure to please. Do NOT skip on the desert ! The tiramisu is exquisite.Thank you Tavola for adding a magical night to our Charlevoix experience.

I had the Contre-filet de boeuf vieilli with au Porto sauce and an extra foie gras as recommended by our waitress, and it was the phenomenal. This was easily the best food I had during my exploration of Charlevoix.

My 12 year old son and I dined here on March 23, 2023. I loved my vegan soup of the day. My son really liked his focaccia appetizer and pasta carbonara main course. My flank steak was cooked perfectly and the flavors on the plate were stunning. We split apple cannoli for dessert. Yummy! Our waitress Delphine was so kind and attentive (she made the music playlist, which I loved and even my son loved). After dinner we retreated to the lounge next door to sit by the fireplace with a beautiful wood fire.

No.. just no.We ordered the tomato soup, calamari and lobster ravioli. Soup was too salty, it was salt and tomatoes; the calamari was good; but the ravioli was a huge flop. Dry filling, not palatable at all, had a to chew through a couple of lobster shells; the sauce was good though but the ravioli needs work…just no.. the dish is a complete flop. Maybe we didnt order the right dishes and got unlucky but recommend that the chef work on those 2 dishes.

We're so happy to have tried this restaurant. The chef is amazing and his plates are beautiful and extremely flavorful! We had the foccacia and salmon tartar for appetizers; the aged steak and a tagliatelle carbonara as mains. Absolutely worth the price! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal :) Bravo to the chef!!
