The food was fine and the order was correct but the place was quite messy. We chose to eat outside at the picnic tables. The outdoor tables really needs a deep scrub, not just a wipe (although that too) and the parking lot needs a power wash desperately. Lots of trash blown around the parking lot, and stains everywhere from garbage and drinks.

Great to eat in an air-conditioned restaurant. All food was cooked fresh. There was an error on our order but it was rectified promptly. So happy days.

A good rest stop on your drive to or coming from BC. It is a very high traffic place but the staff work quickly and are able to get your order completed in a 5-10 minute period.The taste is the same as other McDonald's in Canada but it does feel like the sandwiches have shrunk over the years. One of the items we ordered was a filet-o-fish sandwich and we are pretty sure it used to be bigger.

There's nothing inherently wrong with this McDonald's, other than the fact that it's extremely busy, but there's such a huge missed opportunity for them to have more park benches outside the restaurant. They only have two, and they are constantly busy, making it very difficult to sit down and eat outside. They have space for at least eight tables if they space them out, and I wish they would because it's preferable to the packed interior.

Had a picture perfect Big Mac made by this location. Never seen such a masterpiece. Also had a very very cool car in the parking lot. Gotta love dons. Classic.

I may have eaten too much here… I came in wanting to try all the food that I wouldn’t find at a McDonald’s in the states and so I ordered a crispy chicken lime wrap, poutine (ofc), and a caramel popcorn McFlurry.The crispy chicken lime wrap was pretty good and I wish they had that in the states as a healthier alternative.The poutine wasn’t great. The gravy was good but there wasn’t enough of it and the fries were a little soggy.The caramel popcorn had like 3 pieces of caramel popcorn. That was disappointing. It was good and the crunch on the popcorn was even better, but it was basically a caramel McFlurry with a few toppings…A solid stop on the way to the golden skybridge!

We went to this McDonald’s probably 5 times during our week in Golden, and they messed up our order EVERY SINGLE TIME. Wrong food, missing drinks, charged the wrong amount—you name it. We constantly had to pull over to wait (and wait) so they could correct the order and bring it to us—and even then they messed up multiple times to the point my husband just went inside. This is the WORST McDonald’s we have ever been to in North America—hands down. I realize that this is a small town, but that is no excuse. Other small towns are capable enough to run a fast-food restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else in Golden. We would never have given them so many chances except my kids wanted McDonald’s.

Staff is very friendly. But 2 lanes for ordering but you forget about my lane and serve 4 cars in the other lane. I say excuse me I think you forgot about my lane. Got a snap back response We do not miss anyone". Okay then You just completely ignored me then... Will just by pass and hit up some place different. Only come through about 3 times a week... oh well...."

This McDonald is by far the dirtiest I have ever saw. Trashes full, toilets stinky with paper on the ground. Inside the restaurant, tables dirty as well with anything that food can make the sticky. Papers on the ground as well... trash outside full too.Place to avoid if a minimal of dirtiness make you puke.

Krystal was our server two days in a row! She was such a delight, super customer oriented, and very courteous! You could tell she remembers her regulars and puts a smile on their face! I would definitely come back and get my orders from here!
