The food was decent but the ginger beef had chemicals coated on it or something. A bit of the ginger beef had some weird chemical taste that you could taste at swimming pools.

When I’m in CORE with my sister, we order the three items combo with a large drink for us to share. It’s filling and the price is just right. Our favourite dishes are honey chicken, ginger beef and chicken egg roll. The packaging is quite off putting but the food and service are great.

Unfortunately a terrible experience overall. Overpriced and terrible taste. Food was very pasty. Aesthetically appealing, but dont let that fool you. 11.99 for 3 items and this is what i got...even though i couldnt have rice or or noodles, they could have at least filled it..literally 5 to 8 pcs counted..unreal. will not be returning.

Solid Chinese fast food for the price and portion sizes. The flavour can sometimes be a hit or miss but generally you’ll get a decently sized box of typical Chinese fried foods. You can pick from a box of rice or noodles, and top it off with a choice of either 1, 2 or 3 other meats or veggies. These include ginger beef, honey chicken, sweet and sour pork, and more. The prices are quite reasonable given the amount of food you get in my opinion. Just a decent place for an Asian meal if you’re shopping at the TD Core mall downtown.

Pretty much horrible customer service. I actually like the food at other places, and here is probably the worst of them all. The food isn't always fresh from the last couple of occasions I've come here. Not only that, I actually saw a bowl of noodles cooked fresh and I asked if I could get served that one instead (only because the noodles looked dried) and the lady just straight up said no and tried to continue with my order. No name tag or anything too, where is the uniform compliance and just giving a good attitude in general?

The worst Chinese food we had in a decade or so. The chicken was incredibly fatty and not cooked enough to address the issue. Lots of skin on every single chicken piece... I wonder how that was even possible. The beef meat was super salty and impossible to eat. The noodles had no aroma/taste. Would not recommend to anyone. Too bad that taste cannot be captured in a picture to be shared with others.

The good: value, quantity, efficient courteous service. We appreciated that we could take the food and go to pleasant places to sit in the mall. We especially appreciated the areas with tropical plantings on the east side of the mall.The not so great: the noodles weren't as fresh as they could be, and the veggies we're a little heavy on the oily side.The takeaway: a very average Chinese food place at a mall--for better or worse.

Ok so this review is for the one in North Hill Mall. I don't know but shanghai noodles got bad the same day i purchased and the next day I complained and she was like okay. She did not even tried to make amends by giving me fresh noodles. You know chinese buffet is much better at New Dynasty and in the Regency. No comparison of that food with this food!!

Terrible experience. Soggy Shanghai noodles that had been over cooked by a long shot. Honey garlic chicken was mostly bread and we only received 6-8 pieces in total. Veggies had large chunks of hardened stem pieces in them. To top it off, the peppered beef had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Mushy, awful food.
