We use to take our dog Shelby to Emily for desheddings and she always did great with our old girl.Today I brought our 5mo old bernedoodle for her first haircut and Emily did a great job! Bailey came home happy and beautiful!

We have had our cockapoo groomed at 3 or 4 different groomers in Hamilton/Ancaster and Canine Clip is by far the best. Emily clearly knows what she was doing, she listens to requests and delivers. Good prices too. Highly recommend!

Where can I begin with my praises for Emily at Canine Clips? Her patience, kindness, flexibility, calm, humour, care, and expertise make her the best person to groom your canine companion. I've been bringing my Zoe to her for the entire time Emily has been operational at Steven Street. Zoe is a Jack Russell Poodle mix who's pretty high-strung, and Emily isn't even fazed by her. She handles Zoe with love and patience, and I feel confident and at ease leaving Zoe in her care.One time, on a weekend, Zoe got a sticky burr stuck in the fur around her lip and it appeared to be quite painful. I couldn't get it out -- I just didn't have the tools or expertise or confidence, and I was scared to be bitten. I texted Emily, frantically, asking if she had any advice or on the off-chance she'd be available and able to assist. Emily asked for photos and then invited me to bring Zoe over, and she had Zoe burr-free in minutes. She had been on her way out and she accepted a client in need. She didn't ask for payment but I did not let this amazing gesture go unpaid for. I was so appreciative of her generosity and care.In summary, Emily is your person to go to for your furry friend's grooming needs. And, oh, did I mention that she typically does adorable photo shoots with your companion and posts the photos on Facebook, so you'll have a professional-looking photo of your dog or cat with a neat background? Lacks integrity and unreliable. I booked an appointment with her 3 weeks in advance and freed up my weekend so I can drive my dog over. She texts me the night before my appointment to cancel it and offers to refer me to other colleagues. I reach out 5 days later asking for the referral and she said she wasn’t able to. I reached out 8 weeks after that, multiple times, to book an appointment with her but she’s been dodging my messages. Never had a problem with her. Always paid full and tipped. Not sure what happened here, but I guess she dropped me as a customer.

I took my Schnauzer-Poodle, Nova, here for her very first grooming appointment and Canine Clips exceeded my expectations! Emily was so friendly, and took such great care of her. She also added a holiday touch with a snowman bandana for her to wear!! I could tell that when my pup had no issues going inside and was wagging her tail, that she was in good hands! Looking forward to coming back!!

My Wheaten Terriers absolutely love Emily & Karen! They are so clean & soft & cute and I love the cute neck ties, bandanas & bows they come home wearing. Emily listens and does exactly what I ask for and I’ve been impressed that she has noticed small lumps on the dogs and pointed them out to me. Previous groomers never noticed or mentioned any possible skin problems. They also found a tick on one of them that I had missed. This is the best grooming salon I have ever been to and I wish I could give them 10 stars!
