My experience with Dana Grund was top notch. When I first went to Dana with my vision of my engagement ring, he embraced my ideas and worked very closely with me…..even when I changed my mind (a few times). When I doubted my original ideas, they remained very patient and guided me.I cannot say enough what a pleasure it was to work with his team as well…so very pleasant.As for the ring -the quality and workmanship was more than I imagined. I came to Grund to get an engagement ring made, using an antique ring we were gifted. Dana helped us create a beautiful design that would incorporate the old ring. He was able to design a beautiful stone-cluster arrangement.I picked up my ring yesterday and it is stunning. The workmanship is excellent and he was extremely easy to deal with! The price was also very reasonable. We will absolutely be coming to him again and plan on using the remaining materials to make another ring, which we are really excited for!Also Kirsten was extremely helpful in keeping me and my partner in the loop, despite the crisis. Fantastic service all around.

It was such a delight to work with Dana and Kirsten. Dana designed and created a beautiful diamond ring for my wife to celebrate our fiftieth wedding anniversary. Dana and Kirsten were truly amazing to work with. I came in, honestly with zero knowledge of diamonds or even knowing what my fiancee would be interested in wearing forever—and a fairly short timeline to complete before a big trip to the Rockies. Together, we reviewed their past workbook, talked about my relationship and my partner's style, and through this process they came up with a ring design that perfectly balanced that line of simple elegance and unique character that I came to realized I wanted to propose with. After surprising my partner with my proposal, she said yes, and we are so happy with the work these folks did for us. The hammer forged element on the gold has received the most compliments so far, but people have truly gushed over the design. We have worked with Dana twice now, first for our engagement/wedding, and then for another custom order for our tenth anniversary. The finished product is outstanding. for well over a year i checked almost daily for a diamond that caught my eye on an instagram page that a co worker told me about. finally, earlier this summer i had the winning bid on this one of a kind kite step cut!as a child my father made us kites, so i instantly thought of him when i saw this stone come available! it also reminds me of a shield!i took the loose diamond to Grund Designer Goldsmith Inc. in dartmouth, where i met and set down a vision/design with dana grund.it was an amazing process that i really enjoyed!first my ideas were laid out on a sheet of paper, then a resin mold of my ring was made and the stone placed in it for a trial fitting and design finalization. next and final step, my ring was cast in rose and white gold!i could not be happier with my one of a kind custom piece of wearable art!
