Course was in great shape and staff was very friendly. Electric carts which were in good shape. Only played front 9 but found it fairly challenging with a few holes you really had to place your shots to stay out of trouble. Quite a few elevated greens and lots of bunkers which made approach shots tough as well. The greens were very quick even though it had been raining and everywhere else was soggy. Overall very nice outing and would definitely return.

My friends and I are regular golfers go out every weekend and tour around different places and I've never left a bad review for a golf course cause I've never needed to but wow this place ! Terrible, the drink cart guy took 20 minutes at least to cash us out to the point the marshal came up and said were playing to slow and need to pick up our balls and move on never even asked if everything is okay. Just gave us attitude because members complained but yet never took into account there beverage cart person was holding everything up. Dont blame decent golfer for your staffing issues then take away our playing time without giving any money back.We've never been told to hurry up this is a first let alone told to pick up our balls. WoW the arrogance of people will NEVER BE BACK HERE AGAIN ! As well will be telling alll our golfing friends about this to keep our playing somewhere else ! Dishonest place ! And by far no golfers etiquette

A solid and challenging track on rolling terrain. Good quality of holes. Staff and Marshalls are generally friendly. The pace of play was good as I finished 18 in about 4.5 hours.Was disappointed to see no watering stations around the course. The track doesn't return to the clubhouse after 9, so there is a halfway hut at the convergence of the 11th and 15th, I believe. However, there were limited food choices available.This was a private course under the Clublink umbrella, but it was changed to semi-private a couple of years back.A good experience overall with some areas that, if improved, would create a top-notch golf experience overall.

For this season, I've had 3 rounds at Cherry down including today. I personally and strongly believe this is not a $100+ course anymore, and yet they charge $120+ including cart. Yes I am aware there is a course renovation going on, but that does not mean it should take 5+ hours to complete the round. Every single time. In addition, having fresh cut green for faster green and not having enough grass on the green are two different things. Fairways are not maintained properly either. We are in mid May now, and there are still mud pits on sunny days 20+ degree weather. Once beautiful and challenging course, and now it becomes rolling hills level of course just 2x expensive. Maybe things will improve throughout the season. Me and my golf buddies love Cherry down, but seems like it's time to stay away for a bit.

A mature parklands course featuring a balance of seven 4s, six 3s & five 5s. Elevation and approach position will play a role in scoring, while the reputable slippery and sloped greens can draw the dreaded 3 putt from anyone not locked in. Classic yardage reaches up to 6,598 yards making it a less daunting course for juniors or non-players looking to get out and play. Low cut rough length is also notable compared to many Carrick design stadium epics throughout the GTA. Amenities could be refreshed, but daily fee golf reflects the priorities of this Claremont gem.

Beautiful golf course. Greens are very challenging, fairways are well groomed. Tee boxes could you improvement but are adequate. The patio there is fantastic. A bit pricey but the food Is good. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. All round great experience.

Awesome course. One of my faves to play. Have to bring your A+ game to shoot scratch. Greens fast but true. Always well maintained.
