Midwives - Quinte Midwives

The staff at the Quinte Midwives epitomizes compassion and professionalism. We had the fortune of having Emily and Liza as our midwives, who were absolutely beyond amazing. Their love and enthusiasm for the profession assured us that we were in good hands. They were accessible on a pager within 10 minutes of emergency, providing responsive and accurate advice for our urgent issues. Our postpartum recovery was full of complications and our midwives were always there for us. I wish more people would understand and recognize their phenomenal work. In our years of accessing public health services in Ontario, the staff of the QM are nothing less than the finest health care workers we have ever seen.

My wife Kori and I could not be happier with our experience with Quinte Midwives. Sarah, Amy and Tanisha (who was a student) were all incredible from the first meeting. They were very supportive of our birth preferences and did everything in their power to help us achieve our goals. They were all extremely knowledgeable and maintained a professional dynamic while creating a personable and comforting relationship. They provided us with the confidence we needed to achieve our goal of a home birth, and we were so happy to have Amy and Tanisha there for the experience. The staff at Quinte Midwives make you feel like you are their top priority (even though they are often so full, my doctor joked you have to book the midwives six months before you get pregnant!"). There's a reason they are in high demand. They care for their patients and they care ABOUT their patients. No page is too late at night

I cannot recommend these absolutely wonderful healthcare providers enough and will continue to rave about all of them to anyone who will listen! They become part of your family by the time your postpartum journey rolls around and boy they are there for your every single need. My birth experience would not have been as positive if it wasn’t for them and I will 100% be returning to them if we continue to grow our family. Even with some postpartum complications that popped up they made sure I was fully supported and taken care of. I’m so so sad my journey with Liza, Emily, Emma and Sarah has come to an end. Consider yourself extremely blessed if you get the privilege to be cared for by these incredibly amazing women! ♥️

Best experience ever! So caring, kind and thoughtful. Never pressured me to make a decision but gave me their educated opinions. My midwives were amazing. If I have any more babies, I’ll 100% be going to the midwives. Wish I had gone to them with all my babies!
