Brûlerie Virgin Hill Coffee

We happened upon Virgin Hill Coffee by accident. What a gem! The coffee is great but the shop is even better. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

As a plus ... the coffee-beans are good and fairly priced, and I am happy to buy my coffee-beans here on a regular basis.As a minus ... the counter-service is somewhat slow. But I can live with that, and when it gets too much I will take my bicycle through the drive-thru because that always seems to move pretty quickly :)

I am a big fan of Starbucks, but this terrific store/café rivals any I have been to. The coffee is great and the ambience and design is better than most. They have a full slate of drinks from regular coffee to espressos, lattes, macchiatos etc. They have a wide selection of coffees that they roast themselves. As well they sell coffee paraphernalia including coffee makers, espresso machines, beautiful hand made mugs and more.If you like coffee and are within 25 km of Knowlton, you need to detour and visit. If you love coffee, a 50 km detour would be worth it.

Very nice discovery for us. Cappuccino and scone were great. Very large selection of local roasted coffee is available. We loved the place.

Great coffee, snacks and gift items. Oh, and great people!Bonus; there have recently been two DC EV charging stations added just across the parking lot. One is 50 KW and the other 100 KW, both have Chademo and Combo chargers and are on the Circuit Éléctrique network. So if you’re travelling, make a very short detour from exit 90 on Autoroute 10 and recharge your car and yourself at the same time.

Great selection of items for the coffee. Even expresso machines! Drive-trough service. Great decor also. Check the pendant light in the entree made of coffee mugs. Also good latté

Amazing coffee. Great prices. The owner, Matthew is a great guy who takes the time with his customers.If you want amazing coffee, way better than the overpriced and over sugared slop served at the big chains, you can't go wrong with Virgin Hill.

Disclaimer: I had rated 5☆ before even tasting additional blends from this place and the score stays the same after tasting the following three espresso blends: Virgin Hill's espresso, Napoletano espresso and the Owl's espresso blend.I really like the Virgin blend in milk drinks (usually cappucino for me (6oz)), the Napoletano straight shots are juicy and thick and the Owl's is simply great any way you want it.I'd say really anyone would love the Owl's blend as it's not too acidic nor too bitter. Perfectly balanced.All in all, I really enjoyed the experience and service at that store and back home really enjoyed tasting the blends I had sampled.Couple pictures of my home made latte art with my gaggia classic pro using their espresso blends.

Best coffee in the area that I’ve tried.I even drink it at home.I am a big coffee drinker and strongly recommend this brand.If you’re near the cafe, definitely suggest stopping by and trying their menu.

Awesome coffee shop with a great selection of locally roasted coffee. Every coffee lover can find the equipment they need to get the best cup at home too.The staff is knowledgeable and great to interact with. Stay on the terrasse, order at the coffee bar or use their drive-through on the go.
