Mister Transmission

They checked my transmission for free and told me nothing needed to be done. I thought the fluid may have been low or dirty but it wasn't. If that's not honest I don't know what is.

Trevor was absolutely amazing. He looked at my sons car and determined that it needed a new transmission. We took a few days coming to get it and when we finally came to pick it up I realized I would need to take it to the wreckers and I didn’t have a ride. Trevor not only got my son top dollar at the wreckers but he added enough transmission fluid to get me over there and then came and picked me up …all for free.The world would be a better place with more people like Trevor!I highly recommend this business

Car was running high RPM’s. Did a road test check everything they could to find anything wrong with it. Found a error code that didn’t need to be fixed at all. Was completely honest with me through the whole deal and didn’t charge me a dime.Looking for a repair and not have to worry about being given extra charges on things that don’t need to be fixed, Mister transmission are your guys.

I had a great experience at Mr. transmission in Peterborough. Upon first contact of the shop Cam was able to quickly make an appointment for my truck to be dropped off and road tested. I was able to drop my truck off about 3 days after fist contact and it was road tested that day. I was contacted by cam and was told my transmission had internal issues and would have to come apart. In that same phone call cam was very clear and let me know that it could take a couple of weeks until my transmission would be removed due to there busy schedule. I was very happy this happened because it allowed me to have reasonable expectations for how busy they were at the time, and how long it might take to get the job started and completed. I experience very clear communication with Cam and the shop through out the process. Once they were able to pull the transmission out and diagnose the issues they built a quote and contacted me asap. They Give me some options depending on how I was going to use my truck in the process of rebuilding the transmission. Once I approved the quote it only took the shop 1-2 days to complete the work and finish the job. So far I’m extremely happy with how my truck is now running feel that my issues have been fixed. I feel throughout the entire process everything was communicated very clear to me and they took the time to explain anything I had questions about. The process may have taken longer than I had originally thought however I am very happy that I chose Mr. transmission. I feel the wait was worth it due to the Quality of work they provided. Hopefully I don’t have any issues in the future but if I do I’ll definitely be coming back to mr. transmission in Peterborough. Keep up the great work!!!! -Trevor C.

This is a great business. Cam and Terry are straight shooters and very experienced with diagnosing and repairing transmission issues. Recently I thought I would need a transmission repair or replacement. Terry diagnosed my van and determined it was a falsely faulty sensor .$200 later and I was back on the road. Very happy and satisfied customer

I cannot say enough positive about this place. I currently had my car in the dealership for a motor repair. Unfortunately it was found that my transmission was in need of repair, but they wouldn't do it, they only were willing to do a whole rebuild.I called Mister Transmission to see what if I was being scammed or if this was something that could actually be repaired to save me a good chunk of money.Cam and Matt invested themselves in helping me, ensuring me that they had my back. And they did. They helped me more than what I expected, they REPAIRED the transmission and dealt with the dealership.I am so impressed and will forever be grateful for the service that I received.Thank you.
