Memory Express Computers Edmonton South

Very disappointed in my experience here. Sales was great and staff was great. However I was sold a terrible Laptop product. A Gigabyte Aorus 15P. Never dropped it, never got water on it. Kept it clean with compressed air and it never left my desk. after 1.5 years the motherboard went. This isn’t the first time there has been an issue on these products a gentleman with the same laptop had the exact same issue. I researched and lots of these laptops have had this issue, I find it hard to believe that Memory express wasn’t aware of these issues or that a product they carried was giving problems as a quick google search would show this and they have this problem as well as the multiple claims they have been having with gigabyte products, especially when others who bought the same products as me at the same time. If I would have known a $2000 laptop would have been useless after 1.5 years I would have gotten the extended warranty or not bought this product. There should have been a recall on these laptops. I recommend the staff there, but can not in good faith recommend anyone spend money here or invest in any products here. Please beware of ANY gigabyte products. Do any googling about their products and I am not the first that would give a review like this. Again. Very disappointed in Memory Express. However I will reiterate every staff member I have dealt with there, has been great. Overall though. Being out the money I spent on something I took perfect care of and took care of my product exactly as was recommended to me by staff. The two stars is strictly for the staff and nothing else

They accepted my return of a shattered glass PC case!Last night, I bought a PC case 2 minutes after closing, took it home and opened the box and all the glass on the panel was just in pieces. I packed it up, took it in, and they took it back no problem. Very happy with their service, especially lately. I’ve gotten them a lot of business and will continue to do so :) I recommend my friends against buying from anywhere but here. Thanks guys!

I have been coming to memoryexpress for years both locations in Edmonton west and south even the north side before it closed I've always had an amazing service, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Today the level of customer service blew me away. I was in the parking lot loading my kids car seat into the stroller and attempting to walk in to exchange a computer case one of their staff members ran outside in a t-shirt in - 26 to help carry the case inside to the exchange desk. This blew me away absolutely above and beyond and I just wanted to say thank you to the individual and the other gentleman that help me on the way out thank you and you guys are the reason I keep coming back to the stores.

Very pleased with their service! Corey and Austin worked on our request putting together a gaming computer from scratch as a present for our son. They did an outstanding job from start to finish! plus, the order was ready for pick up earlier than we thought it would be! these guys are the definition of: teamwork makes the dream work" ;)"

We've done six or more gaming builds through Memory Express over the years and their service has always been impeccable. Shout out to Matt at the south side location, he helped me with my parts list today. He was super patient, lightning fast, and was proactive with a lot of great advice. You can tell these guys really enjoy their job. On other occasions, Memory Express has always lived up to their warranty service and it's about time I wrote them a review for it. Thank you Matt! Sales was fantastic very knowledgeable and helpful with picking out the best parts for building the new PC. However service was atrocious after the computer was built just asking for advice was like pulling teeth and a simple fix was going to take 6 days or skipping the line would cost $240.So unfortunately I would not recommend bringing your PC here if you require any bit of service however the sales department is fantastic and helpful.

They helped me get all the parts I wanted for my new build and price matched all of them! They even got me a better cpu for around the same price as the one I initially wanted... can you a-beat a-that?

Scott and his team worked to find a solution that left me very happy and up and running before I knew it.We only buy our computer goodies from Memory Express for a reason, they stand firmly behind what they sell. They have my team's loyalty! You can't put a price on their kind of service.

Good part selection. The employee who helped me pick out my part list was knowledgeable and made sure all the parts would be compatible with each other. They even tested the cpu, ram and other parts that connect directly to the mobo free of charge. While I was building the computer, I decided to add an extra fan and it was super easy to go back and grab one.
