Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast

Very accommodating, kind and informative.

This bed and breakfast house offered no amenities as shown . We booked the lower east room for two nights at $273.00 . On arrival we were asked to take off our shoes as there had been a new carpet (dark grey) . Then shown to a small room with one tiny fan no air con and the only window was broken and asked not to touch it.Then shown the bathroom which we had to share with complete strangers! Our room only locked from inside we had no keys to lock our room . We were told that she could look after them for us. We questioned some of these things but she got very defensive saying you did book the cheapest room! Well let me say I have been to many hotels motels band b's in different countries and I have never seen anything so poor. For $130 per night I would expect our own bathroom access to a tv ( denied) . Breakfast was a poached egg and lightly toasted bread tea was not offered coffee warm and some berries with tiny amount of yogurt . Full breakfast indeed!I was accused of not reading fine print and showed her my phone image of my booking. We stayed one night but got charged for two I would say that's a pretty good sum of money and maybe some new towels without bleach spots on them could be purchased . Also a put off previous guests soap and other toiletries should be removed and no old nail brush please who will use that? Very outdated house from 1980's . Nothing near but a gas station and a run down pub . I would certainly not ever recommend this place to friend or foe! . Advertised with free wi fi that's pretty standard and free parking . Well here's the thing who charges a parking fee to stay in a hotel motel or B and B? I could go on . Very unhappy with her demeaning attitude and was upset when we said we were uncomfortable there and had spent a stifling hot night in the room and again being told we did book the cheapest room. I have no idea how anyone would give this place 5 or 4 stars in fact I think there's a real safety issue there if a fire occurred with a window that did not open .

Betty ist eine super Gastgeberin. Wir haben die zwei Tage Aufenthalt in Kelowna bei ihr sehr genossen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Sie hatte sich sogar auf Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten eingestellt.

Morning Glory is an excellent place to stay - the rooms are clean and tidy, breakfasts are a real treat and the host is simply charming! Highly recommended!

Ganz liebevolle Gastgeberin, super Frühstück. Wir sind traurig, dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten. Alles Gute für die Zukunft.

This was a Home away from Home with great accommodations in a quiet neighborhood, a friendly host and great conversation while enjoying the backyard deck and garden. Every morning we enjoyed a new home cooked breakfast that was a great start to our day. Found the location excellent as it is centralized for visiting Kelowna, West Kelowna or West Bank. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay at a B&B in the Kelowna area.

Wonderful place!

We were kindly welcomed despite being hours early for our check in. We were treated like family and our room even had a ceiling fan, which I have decided I can not live without.

I think that place is not made for kids , we have a very bad experience with the lady I never recommend family with the kids to go there .

Super nette Gastgeberin, tolles Frühstück, alle erdenklichen Hinweise zu möglichen Unternehmungen, ganz tolle Lage der Unterkunft, hat uns ganz super gefallen!
