The Plant Curious book brought me here for the first time, and my family is officially a fan! Due to gluten and various ingredient sensitivities, I had the Ronny Russell burrito as a bowl, and it was so good (even without the beans and salsa). Their mock guac is edamame-based, and while it doesn't have the exact creaminess as the real" guacamole

The spot for the ultimate comfort food. I’ve been going here for the past 7 years and The Burrow (formerly Bandidas Taqueria) has been my top go-to spot for comfort brunch on Commercial Drive. Sherman’s Benny is my absolute favourite. The corn bread is *chefs kiss* and the goat cheese just adds that little extra creaminess to the plate. I like asking for their house salad (the salad is always so fresh and the pumpkin seeds are so good) instead of the potatoes since I like a fresh side to my brunch. All of their tacos and baked burritos (you’ve got to have it baked in a bowl with cheese, with goat cheese if you’re feeling extra) are delicious. Sharing tip: order nachos and a baked burrito in a bowl with cheese (no tortilla wrap) and you can easily feed 2 people comfortably using the baked burrito as a chunky deliciously cheesy gooey dip for your nachos. I’ll always recommend The Burrow as a go-to spot on the Drive!

Whatever you do...make sure you plan a day to come and eat here! Fantastic service and yummy comfort food. Everything was so fresh and their mock quac" is a great idea and very delish! Next time I will get the cheeze dip! My recommendation is to not forget to ask for your meal to be made vegan. Everything can be made as such

Food was unique and delicious… love all types of wings specially the honey garlic one… have some guilt free wings and enjoy the look and taste. My second choice of wings was bbq which was very delicious.. chipotle tofu taste good but the quesadilla was not worth the price .. definitely u should try the same chipotle tofu but enchiladas.. full of flavor and tasty.. squash enchiladas was good if u like sweet food but not so much flavorful. Cinnamon Cheesecakes was unique and tasty. In total good experience and worth to try. Although was unhappy with the unpleasant smell of restaurant at the entrance.

Went to Sunday brunch for me and friends five years reunion. The environment is good. The staff are friendly. It wasn’t busy as before. My order, BAKED burrito is so so. Salty and nothing special. My friend liked tacos.

Very yummy, I loved the decorations and vibes of the restaurant, our server gave us a free sample of the new Not Guac and it was SUPER TASTY. I ordered one of the burritos and I got it smothered in sauce, mine was also ordered dairy free and it didn't impact the flavor whatsoever. Will be eating here again

I went for dinner with a friend earlier this week and we both had a lovely experience. We weren't able to book a table as the restaurant doesn't take bookings but we were seated straight away despite the restaurant being busy. We were in a quieter part of the restaurant which I appreciated it. The food is great, my friend ordered a burrito and I ordered 6 tacos. Each one was so yummy and honestly I can't wait to go back. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

Wonderful selection of vegetarian and vegan mexican food! Very generous portions, great for sharing with friends! We especially keep coming back for the nachos and fantastic cocktails! Hibiscus lemonade is amazing! Overall great vibe and lovely staff!

I really appreciate all the vegetarian and vegan options there but I was a bit disappointed flavour wise. I wish they had more seasoning. Portions were great though!!
