Vivian Plantation - Where Christmas memories begin

I cannot tell you how friendly and magical this christmas tree farm is! I'm so excited to support them again. I buy a wreath and a fresh garland from them every year. They have an inviting bonfire to warm up with a free hot chooclate or apple cider which just really adds to memory and a free wagon ride. I find the property breathtaking -bring your camera! You'll want to take some photos here as well. All the staff are welcoming and kind. A great place for tradition.

Very disappointed this year, We have purchased a 20ft tree from Vivan Plantation for the last 3 years, each year the cost of the tree has risen, first year $150, 2nd year $200, 3rd year $250, and now this year they wanted $350. I would understand paying this price if this was a precut tree that they had to pay to have delivered, but this was a tree that has been sitting in the back of their property for about 20 years. The owner justified by saying costs have gone up this year and I can't expect to pay the same price as I did last year. How can the cost of a tree growing in the ground cost more today than it did last year. I totally understand pre cut costs going up, but come on. I am very disappointed with the attitude, of the owner, especially when my little kids were standing there. FYI, if you are looking to cut your own at vivian plantation, none of their trees have been pruned and about 90% of them have at least 2 trunks, some have 3. Make sure you look for that. they look nice until you get closer. Can't expect much from people who live in Toronto and dive to their parents neglected run down property at the holiday season to Scrooge Mc Duck people.If you are looking for a fair priced tree farm please drive about 3 min north of vivan Rd to Don Macpherson, he is located just south of Davis on the West side.

What a magical experience!!!My first year getting a real tree from a tree farm. What a blast. My partner and I had so much fun. Just being out to roam around and not be bothered and then when we found what we wanted it was all bundled up and ready to go. Don't know the name of the young man who helped us out but the service was well beyond my expectations. Will definitely be back next year.

Went to a few tree farms around Stouffville, and this little gem was a random find. Turns out they had the best looking tree at the very affordable price with free warm cider or hot coco. Bonfires are available to warm up. They have staff that handle the trees so they are well taken cared of when you buy your chosen piece.

Wonderful!! A lovely hay ride through the magical woods makes this a very memorable place to visit. All the staff are so friendly and helpful including the owner and his family. Hot chocolate, bonfire and many picture perfect scenes makes this a place you don’t want to miss. It’s helpful too that trees are pre-cut as we spent hours last year searching for the best one! This way you get your tree easily and a chance to enjoy the winter wonderland.

Large selection of pre cuts and field trees. Varying species of fir and spruce. Tractor pulled hay rides and complimentary hot chocolate/cider. Wreaths, Garland and bunches of boughs available. Cider available by the jug as well. They have a tree bailer and shaker. Lots of employees to give you a hand with selection. Twine to tie the tree to your car. All around excellent experience.

We have been coming to Vivian Plantation exclusively for well over 20 years. They are friendly, welcoming, and have a fantastic selection of trees, including different varieties and sizes! We get our church tree and home tree both, and are always greeted with smiles and catching up. Well worth the visit!

Lynn and her team went above and beyond to help supply our school with wreaths for a fundraiser. Such kind hearted people with incredible and unmatched customer service. I cannot recommend them enough!

Our second time here will be our last. While the staff are very nice, the selection is pretty poor.On first glance it seems like there are a lot of nice trees, but when you get up close, many of them turn out to be 2 trees right beside eachother, so only one half of the tree is nice, and the other is bare. This could work if the tree is going up against a wall, particularly in a home tight on space, but sadly not for us.
