Honestly we saw like 30+ whales in about an hour - this place is it.

I had 0 expectations for this locations and ended up having a great time. I did not get any tickets prior, I simply showed up. The lady at the ticket booth was a delight, she provided me with all the information for this location and proceeded to explain to me that the daily ticket also included 2 other locations ( Cap de Bon-Desir & Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Center ). Since this is a daily ticket, if you want to visit all 3 locations, then I suggest arriving early, if not, enjoy your time here( I spent more time here than Bon Desir ). After visiting, the very informative and interactive museum, I went to sit on the rocks to enjoy the gorgeous views and saw some whales & seals. People also go diving there however i'm not sure how it works in terms of pricing and who can dive therefore, if you are interested, you should look into it.

Awesome place to scuba dive and to see whales right from shore! And our scuba guide Michel C was the best! He had a ton of patience with two new divers!!

If you want to get up close and personal with the whales from the shore this is the place. Dress warm and wear something to counteract the wind. Wear a hat for the sun and then get cosy on the rocks and watch the whales go by!

Great little place to stop when your in the city. The place has a very friendly staff and a couple of interactive things to do while you're there, including various exhibits. They also have a stairwell that you can use to go down to the water front and look for seals, walruses, and whales. I don't think you would be able to spend more than an hour or two there, but stop in when in your in the area for some oceanic learning.

Best place to watch Whales.. For $4/person, We had better luck of seeing Whales on this shore than the $80 we paid for Zodiak boat tour.

Another nice official whale watching spot like Point Noir and Cape Bon Desire. This one has nice center with high deck and couple of scopes to look through. Also seems to be less crowded than others. Same knowledgeable staff.

Beautiful spot to watch the whales. Dress warmly! It is much colder with the wind. And wear comfortable shoes so that you can walk on the rocks. There is a gift shop and water fountains. It is even accessible for people with reduced mobility.

If you’re lucky you’ll see some whales from ashore but be prepared to spend a few hours as they’re on their own schedule. Not yours. Make it a picnic. Bring mats and chairs. Windbreaker. You know the deal.
