Druxy's Famous Deli
Unfortunately this is the only place to eat at the ROM, but in my experience it is pretty bad. On the day I visited, it was massively understaffed for the amount of visitors that day and every single station had a very long line. I chose my meal based on the shortest line, the hot entree station, and ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. The slice was cut from an uncooked pizza and cooked in the oven but not long enough, so the cheese was not properly melted and overall the taste wasn't that great. The attendant at this station was unable to follow several simple requests from other diners and she took forever to even get my slice of pizza in the oven. It seemed like she had to call the manager over to pre-slice the uncooked pizza before she could take a slice and put it in the oven for me, which seemed pretty sad. Then there was another long line to pay at the cashier as well because that area was also understaffed for the crowd.

Healthy options! I got a sandwich here, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! It was made right in front of me, and there were several choices when it came to bread and veggie and cheese toppings. Staff was courteous, and I could see they do a good job sanitizing tables.Downside: Prices were expensive (I paid over $14 for one sandwich), and there seems to be little organization in the way of forming lines to the order counter.

The food was mediocre, my chocolate croissant was at least a day old, my wife’s hamburger was dripping oil, but worse still, the cook was rude, and after lining up for 15 minutes to order garbage food, we had to lineup for another 15 minutes to pay for it before eating. ROM is great, but this cafe is a mess.

If you gotta eat, you gotta eat. Has food. Serves its function. Lunch picking gets slim after 2pm. Owner is nice though.

Went here for a school field trip, overpriced and undercooked food, the fries weren't salted and tasted bland. Although the burger was semi good. Service was good and atmosphere was average.

Avoid at all cost. Eat before or after. Hot dog stand outside is better than this.Imperfect trifecta. Slow, Bad and Expensive.Pizza looks very sad, didn't order it.Burger patties were so dry I suspect they were from the dinosaur exhibit.The batter on the chicken fingers is the same texture as playground sand.

I came with my family after visiting the museum expecting to get a reasonably priced lunch. The cafeteria was quite confusing and strange as you had to order from different areas rather than one specific area. My Greek salad was bland and overpriced, so was my poutine that tasted old, had strange cheese and the gravy was gelatinous. I paid for what seemed like a small store bought cupcake aswell and it was $4 for one. Don’t come to this place.

Wasn't an impressive place to see or eat at.Since getting the comment below from owner, I feel this a better means to get a rebuttal review across. Now, a lot of the faults with the deli are more due to uncontrollable circumstances. I get it. However asking me months after my post is ridiculous. To see the same message to other reviews is even worse. So what I can remember, because I was there months ago, are bad signage, no organization of serving lines, dirty tables and we really, poor management of employee training.

Food is overly expensive. You don’t get much out of it plus the pizza was undercooked and the drinks are almost 4$. It’s dirty, crowded, there are children running around and screaming everywhere. The museum itself is great but I highly recommend you just bring your own lunch or something.
