Cedarvale Park
If you want to walk your dogs, play sports, especially soccer— this is highly recommended. The park has a wide soccer field and also frisbee nets. There’s some benches where you can sit and eat and even a port-a potty. My friends and I enjoyed our time here. The parking lot is free but limited so first come, first serve.

Cedarvale Park is my hometown park. Grew up playing there in the 80s. Now I'm hooked on the disc golf so the park is back in active use for me again. Annual Father's Day car show and other events. Historical location of home of nearly 150 Armenian Orphans who came here in the 1920s to escape war. (Photo is useless, sorry. I need to take some better pics!)

Cedarvale Park
Simple green park with a sports field, a parking lot, a leash-free area and a small river. Since Georgetown is relatively green, I would expect more attractions for families with children, residents or visitors alike.

A beautiful and peaceful place. We have planted a memorial oak tree near the creek in celebration of my late husband's love of nature. Lovely to have a place to visit him where he, our children, and grandchildren grew up.

Update in 2023 : The park is nothing like it was before. The park looks gorgeous. We loved the walking trail and the football pitch it is amazing with all round amazing views.2022 : Small little park but the grass is all dried up and full of weeds.

This park is always so lovely. The playground for the kids is basic and lacks swings but still a fun structure. The field is huge, there is so much land right here for any activity you want to do. There are netted soccer goal posts, trails, dog park, kids park, bleachers, a little gazebo to sit and have lunch or dinner or just relax. The playground has mulch which is unfortunately the worst filler for a park but not such a turn away that my son doesn't have fun.A couple times I have gone and there have been some individuals with their obnoxiously loud cars, revving their engines, speeding out of the park and causing such noise pollution that we almost left but that's not the parks fault, that's people and their lack of consideration for other people. The dog park here is now my only goto because I have yet to run into an aggressive dog... mainly because it's mostly empty when I go now due to the new park but trust me when I say... it's better that way.
